Citibank Research on October 19 repositioned Aave as a decentralized collateral liquidity protocol, not just crypto lending. Golden Finance and Cointelegraph reported similar perspectives.
On-chain matching shows that tokenized fund collateral on Horizon, such as JAAA, has risen from about $18 million to around $51.9 million. Tokenized US stock collateral lending on Base remains small, with roughly $9 million collateral and over $3 million USDC loans. CoinGecko spot AAVE is about $148, down roughly 3% in 24 hours (snapshot around 16:05 Beijing time).
This feels more like an institutional narrative trying to get ahead; the real scale is still small. The research report provides direction, not that the current scale has exploded. The opposing side is also clear: activity relies on incentives, US users can't enter, and once regulation tightens, the story can be pushed back.
In the next two weeks, focus on only two things. Whether net collateral on Horizon and the tokenized stock market continues to expand; if the combined shrinkage exceeds 20% in two weeks, treat Citibank's narrative as empty hype. If AAVE underperforms ETH by more than 8% consistently, consider the market not buying into this story.
$AAVE $ETH $BTC
#Aave #Tokenization $ETH $BTC $SOL Why are some people still choosing to short in this situation?
Let's talk about the reasons for shorting:
1: First, the uncertainty of the midterm elections. The midterm elections are on November 3rd, just half a month away. If the Republicans don't do well, market funds will rush to safe havens. Historically, every midterm election has triggered a stock market sell-off: a 35% drop in 1974, 34% in 2002, and 27% in 2022, which was the smallest decline in recent years. This year will most likely be no exception.
2: September CPI year-on-year at 3.7% exceeded expectations, boosting bets on rate hikes. Expectations for a rate hike in December have strengthened, favoring a return of funds to dollar assets and deposits in banks to earn interest.
3: Continuous outflows from ETF spot funds. Last night, BlackRock institutions transferred 883 BTC and 28,957 ETH to the exchange (there was no dump last night; a dump is expected tonight).
These are all bearish points, but the probability of a waterfall drop is low. After all, the market is all about speculation on expectations. When bearish news lands, it often turns bullish. If you don't bottom-fish Ethereum at 2300, when will you? If you don't buy Bitcoin at 79,000, will you wait until 100,000???
Personally, I am still bullish. When everyone is panicking, I must be greedy!!!
#ETF持续流出,BTC反弹能否延续? The Hormuz reopening plan is still valid; can oil prices continue to fall? This geopolitical variable directly affects the sentiment of crude oil-related assets, and the current rebound seems more like a technical correction during a news vacuum. I remain cautious about a sustained decline. On the 4-hour chart, there is a steady upward trend closely following previous highs, with retracement narrowing step by step, and short-term strength remains unbroken. The negative funding rate combined with an open interest of 592,000 indicates a high degree of short crowding, suggesting a potential short squeeze; however, the buy-to-sell ratio in the top 10 order book levels is 0.77, with selling pressure still dominant, and solid sell orders suppressing around 99.77. Strategically, a light long position can be taken on a pullback to 98.63, with a stop loss at 97.85 and a target of 99.62; if volume increases and price stabilizes above 99.62, positions can be added to chase up to 100.35. Position size should be controlled within 20%, and exit immediately if stop loss is hit—do not hold losing positions.

Folks, have you recently felt uneasy seeing your account in the red? No matter how you buy lately, you end up losing?
Want to know why? Follow Ali's lead and let's break down the logic behind this~
Actually, the current market is being stirred up by oil prices, interest rates, and AI stocks working together!!!
First, the Middle East situation is unstable, tanker freight rates are rising, and as oil prices go up, global inflation won't come down. If inflation doesn't ease, would the Fed dare to cut rates? In that case, US Treasury yields will surge, capital costs will rise, and people will be even less willing to put money into the stock market. As for AI stocks, under a high interest rate environment, they face the dual pressure of rising financing costs and earnings falling short of expectations. The market's valuation logic shifts from growth narratives to cash flow validation, making high valuations unsustainable.
Ali's current view is that this is like dominoes, one thing triggering another. Don't rush to bottom-fish yet; we need to keep an eye on oil prices and US Treasury yields. Without these two falling back, the market will struggle to truly stabilize.

I choose Yes for this Netflix deal; the idea isn't that exciting, but I think there's a chance. Last quarter's revenue was $12.56 billion, a 13% year-over-year increase, with an operating margin of 33.4%. The company’s revenue forecast for Q3 is $12.86 billion; subscribers, price hikes, and advertising are still helping it make money, and the growth rate of content amortization is expected to slow down in the second half of the year. I bet it will ultimately pay a bit more than its own forecast. However, the company expects revenue growth to slow to 11.7%, so I’m thinking it will slightly beat expectations, not suddenly take off.$BTC reported at 81551, down 1.13%, $ETH reported at 2392, down 1.30%. Last night, while the US stock market rebounded, neither followed suit; domestic confidence clearly hasn't returned, both are grinding in a weak range.
The main pressure comes from the December rate hike expectations. CME shows a 77.8% probability of a 25 basis point hike in December. Under tightening capital expectations, high-volatility assets are the first to be hit.
Interestingly, yesterday spot BTC ETF net inflow was $527 million. Money is coming in but the price didn't move, indicating that on-exchange profit-taking and short-term shorts are selling off. Moreover, a huge whale sold 12,468 ETH, pocketing $8.99 million, then turned around to use $20 million USDC to go long on crude oil. Large funds believe energy is more certain than crypto and are voting with their feet.
Next, focus on two things: whether December rate hike expectations continue to heat up, and whether ETF net inflows can sustain. These two directly determine if BTC can hold the 80,000 level. If expectations don't ease and funds don't continue, 80,000 will eventually be worn down. Wait for the direction to be clear before following, don't take sides prematurely. INJ traded 149 million on 10/16, 4.6 times that of the previous day, with a 12% increase that day.
Four days later, the price is 5.2% lower than the closing price that day, and the volume is only 30% left.
That day closed at 8.977, with a high of 9.476.
None of the following four days managed to stand back above that level.
The average volume over the last three days is only 30% of that on 10/16.
Today's volume in the same period is only 55% of yesterday's.
Looking at 15 coins.
OP and TIA also had large volumes, dropping more than 10%, but volume remained above 60%.
INJ is the only one with volume dropping below 30%.
I think the significance of a large-volume long bullish candle is not how much it rose that day, but whether anyone continues to buy.
No second wave in four days, and volume keeps shrinking, more like a turnover was completed that day.
Someone handed over the coins to the buyers chasing the high, then both sides stopped moving.
But I don't see it as a bearish signal: the price is still sideways at 8.5, and on 10/19 it closed up 5.4%.
I tend to observe rather than chase: not treating the huge volume as a breakout, nor the shrinking volume as a crash.
I set strict invalidation conditions.
If it stands back above 8.98 and daily volume returns to 90 million, then 149 million was accumulation, not distribution, and I admit I was wrong.
If it breaks below 7.796, distribution is confirmed, and I will no longer assume a rebound.
Time is given until 10/23; if no volume-price coordination in three days, treat as consolidation.
If you hold INJ, will you wait for it to stand back above 8.98, or treat it as distribution?

#Bitcoin breaks $83,000 #Short liquidationsxSOXL was still at 105 yesterday, but today on OKEx it directly dropped back to 96, down 4.49%—overnight, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index in the US just ended an eight-day losing streak with a 1.61% gain, yet today in the Asian session, the Korean stock market was bloodied again: KOSPI closed down 3.73%, SK Hynix intraday fell over 7%, sentiment swinging back and forth, exposing the fragility of 3x leveraged ETFs.
The driver is a tug-of-war on two fronts: US stocks just caught a breath (SanDisk and Micron both rose over 4% overnight), while in Asia, the aftershock of a 35% plunge in ChangXin Memory Technology is still fermenting, with valuation cuts not yet finished; on OKEx's gainers list, xSOXS (3x short semiconductor) actually led with +5.12%, shorts are still celebrating, no consensus between bulls and bears.
Looking at the market: OKEx xSOXL current price is 96.00, MA5 at 96.18 just broke below MA30, the super trend at 97.89 is pressing overhead, RSI at 37.42 weakening but not yet oversold, support at 95.79 right below. My judgment: leveraged ETFs fear this kind of choppy market the most; yesterday's recovery and today's sell-off cancel each other out, volatility is amplified, don't bet on 3x products for a one-sided move.
Watch two signals: whether the 95.79 support holds—if broken, it means a deep pullback; also watch if tonight's US Philadelphia Semiconductor Index can continue its recovery or will keep falling with Asia—until sentiment stabilizes, rebounds are just fake moves.

Not investment advice, DYORSolana's ecosystem growth and SOL's market performance are two different things.
A network can attract stablecoins, users, and applications without those developments immediately translating into higher token demand.
That's why I look beyond ecosystem headlines and ask whether adoption is producing sustained activity and stronger market participation.
Fundamentals matter, but investors still need to assess valuation, demand, and risk. The treasury company has bought more coins again, but ordinary shareholders shouldn't be too quick to celebrate.
The most important thing to calculate is whether the BTC per share has actually increased after the purchase.
The total amount of coins held by the company going up looks encouraging; however, if more shares are issued at the same time, the new coins have to be shared among more shareholders. The total position grows larger, but the portion allocated to each share you hold may not improve as much.
This is also the aspect I want to compare more when looking at Strive's increased holdings and Strategy's buybacks.
Continuing to buy coins increases asset exposure; buybacks depend on the specific securities repurchased, transaction prices, and what liabilities are reduced. Both are capital operations, and the final impact on ordinary shareholders needs to be calculated separately.
I don't like turning this kind of discussion into a test of faith. Praising large purchases as determination and doubting small ones as wavering is too simplistic. If management thinks handling financing costs is more cost-effective, they should explain the accounts clearly.
The treasury's equity inherently carries an additional layer of corporate operation and financing risk compared to directly holding BTC. Holders shouldn't just look at the coin price but must also watch whether their equity is being diluted.
Next time I see a headline like "increased holdings by how many coins," I'll first check the change in share count and then look at the financing terms. Passion is fine, but if you're buying stock, you need to clearly calculate what your share actually receives after this operation.
#Strive大额增持,Strategy回购规模超买币 Two lines are converging: the crypto market is deleveraging, while the US stock market is picking up bargains.
Let's look at the crypto market first.
Nearly $40 million was liquidated in the past hour, and the structure is more important than the amount:
• BTC is the main battlefield: accounting for nearly 30%, long positions absolutely dominate, short positions only about 7%—long crowded trades are being concentratedly liquidated
• ETH shows resistance: short liquidations account for 37% ($5.46 million), with a mid-way rebound washing out short-sellers
• SOL is just along for the ride: only 3.56%, leverage is not crowded, just following the decline
Now let's look at the US stock market.
Overnight, the Nasdaq 100 rose 1.2%, outperforming the S&P 500 by 0.4%, and the semiconductor index ended an eight-day losing streak. Leading the gains were Amazon (+5%), SanDisk (+5.5%), and SK Hynix (+5%)—all parts of the previously heavily hit computing power chain.
Putting these two lines together:
At both ends of risk assets, the same thing is happening—leveraged positions are being squeezed out, and crowded trades are being cleared.
The crypto market is forcibly deleveraging through liquidations; the US stock market is naturally deleveraging through an eight-day decline. Now both sides are almost simultaneously reaching the first rebound after hitting emotional lows.
Such a coincidence is rare in history. At the end of 2018 and after March 2020, there were also crypto-stock resonances marking bottoms.
Of course, two samples don't make a rule. But at least, the most panic-stricken phases on both sides are behind us.
Next, watch two things:
1. Whether ETH's rebound can evolve into an independent rally—a leading indicator of crypto market sentiment
2. Whether the semiconductor index can hold steady and launch a second wave—a leading indicator of US stock market momentum
Whoever moves first will be the main theme of the next wave. RSI Why does a small position always make money, but once I add to the position, I start losing?
The most heartbreaking thing isn’t making the wrong call, but that trial trades earn just enough for a meal, while heavy positions lose half a year’s salary.
I used to think it was just bad luck: when the position was small, the market went my way; when I seriously bet big, the market turned against me. Later, after reviewing my trade records, I realized that not only did I increase the position size, but I also secretly changed my trading method.
With a small position, I could wait through pullbacks and exit when signals failed; with a heavy position, every bearish candle felt like it was cutting into my living expenses.
Originally watching the four-hour trend, suddenly I was fixated on one-minute fluctuations; I couldn’t resist cutting losses on normal retracements, only to see prices rebound and recover. The direction hadn’t changed, but I lost money by constantly fiddling back and forth.
What’s more subtle is that after several profitable trial trades, I often missed the most comfortable entry points. By the time I finally “confirmed” the trend and increased my position, the price was farther from the invalidation point. The same amount of coins carried very different risks.
Making money with a small position only proves those few trades were effective; it doesn’t prove that after scaling up tenfold, I can still follow the original rules. What really needs gradual verification is whether larger fluctuations force me to change my plan.
Remember: position size is not a button to just amplify profit numbers; when it becomes so large that it changes your actions, what you’re doing is no longer the original trade. With such heavy short positions, why is the funding rate still positive? Many people start to feel confused.
Actually, margin looks at the size of the position and how much money is piled up, while the funding rate is designed to keep the perpetual price close to the spot price. It is a correction tool, not a headcount.
Perpetual contracts are pegged to the spot market, so a positive funding rate is set to make longs pay, suppressing the premium.
So if shorts have a lot of money and the funding rate is still positive, what's going on❓❔
As of the week ending October 13, hedge funds reduced regular short selling by 6,437 $BTC, but cross-period arbitrage positions increased by 2,719, a 48% rise.
Therefore, a large portion of the shorts are arbitrage trades, hedging by buying spot and shorting perpetuals, profiting from this positive funding rate.
This position is large, but they don't want the price to drop; they are collecting rent, which pushes the short scale very high, yet the contract price hasn't been crushed below the spot price.
Currently, leveraged funds' net short positions have decreased by 15%, shorts are withdrawing, but the funding rate hasn't turned negative. This indicates the premium still exists, and longs are still paying.
The direction hasn't been decided yet. Personally, I think a big move is brewing.
#BTC funding rate Old Musk is about to start making big promises! Musk announced that next year he will give every child in the U.S. one share of SpaceX stock
Just as SpaceX is about to officially release its first full quarterly financial report after going public, I conducted a special research and calculation on $SPCX using my own U.S. stock research platform
From the basic financial data:
* SpaceX currently has about 7.7 billion shares outstanding
* Wall Street's current consensus median EPS is $0.1346, corresponding to a single quarter net profit expectation of about $1.036 billion
* The company's actual EPS last quarter was -$0.09, equivalent to a net loss of $693 million.
This means that if the company wants to meet Wall Street's basic expectations this quarter, the net profit for the quarter needs to increase by a full $1.729 billion quarter-over-quarter. Although the company's revenue growth rate reached 91.90% and gross margin remained at 51.88%, the R&D testing of Starship V3, spaceport expansion, and capital expenditures on ground computing infrastructure are still at high levels
Last quarter's net profit margin was -35.66%, operating profit margin was -1.80%, and under strict GAAP accounting standards, depreciation and amortization of fixed assets are rigid, so significantly turning a profit in the short term still faces financial constraints

I directly placed a NO bet on OKX, there is a clear odds asymmetry, the event is completely free to participate in, win XP and share extra bonuses, comfortable! To be honest, I've been a bit annoyed watching the ETF data this week.
Every day it's outflows. Three weeks ago, there were continuous net inflows, then suddenly the largest single-day outflow, and it hasn't stopped since.
BTC has been performing well though, climbing steadily after the 79725 spike, reaching a high of 83149. But now, it's dropped back to 81849.
Money is moving, prices are rising, and I've been thinking about this for several days.
Now I understand, ETF outflows don't mean no one is buying; it means the holders have changed.
The 79725 spike was taken by a whale, 83149 was BTC pushing up on its own, and ETF money was never the main force behind this rebound. This rally was driven by short covering and retail bottom-fishing, not really related to institutions.
So regarding the question on the list, whether the rebound can continue, my answer is: it depends.
We need to see when ETF outflows stop; only when they stop will the rebound have solid support. Since outflows are still happening daily, this rally is just sentiment-driven. Sentiment comes fast and goes fast.
I've been burned by this kind of sentiment-driven market before, just paid my tuition last week, so I can say this honestly. I'm not chasing, really not chasing. Chasing now is just lining up for the next liquidation.
Did anyone chase this week? If you did, how's it going? Share your situation.

Yesterday it surged to 83,000, but it didn’t hold for long and softened, falling back to around 82,000. Sigh, no money to support it.
Looking at two sets of data, recently BTC spot ETFs saw an outflow of 229 million USD, and ETH was even worse with an outflow of 320 million. The most heartbreaking part is that on the 19th, even though BTC was rebounding, BTC ETFs still slipped away by 139 million!
This is interesting: the price bounced up, but the real institutional money didn’t come back at all, not even a shadow of sustained net inflow. To put it bluntly, the hype crew in the market is desperately shouting “bull market returning fast,” but the real big buyers are quietly retreating.
I think this rebound is actually "bloated."
BTC and ETH have no external fresh capital continuously pumping in; relying solely on sentiment to pull up won’t get far. Especially on the ETH side, the capital outflow is severe, indicating that big money is still unwilling to take risks. As long as ETF outflows don’t stop, this kind of rebound is most likely just a breather after a big drop, and a real reversal is hard to come by.

The company stopped disclosing quarterly subscriber numbers long ago; this time the market is focused on advertising and next quarter's guidance.
Last week, Netflix laid off about a thousand employees, and both the head of content and the film chief have left one after another.
Co-CEO Sarandos admitted last month that growth wasn't as fast as desired, with viewing time only up 2% in the first half of the year.
In September, several major banks downgraded their ratings, all worried that user time is shifting to YouTube.
For Q3 revenue and profit, analysts expect results to be basically in line with company guidance, so there's little suspense.
What really affects the stock price is whether ad revenue can keep up with the goal of doubling for the full year, and whether Q4 guidance is revised downward.
The July guidance miss caused the stock to drop to around $65 the next day.
From my observation, the current price already factors in a lot of pessimism; as long as guidance holds steady, there is considerable room for stock price recovery.
If guidance is revised down again, the July low is the key level to watch.

The market is now unanimously pricing in a pause in rate hikes by the Federal Reserve in October, but a pause does not mean the tightening cycle is over. Because there are 3 more important factors affecting $BTC $ETH $SOL
First, the stickiness rebound of core inflation.
If core CPI and core PCE month-over-month remain stuck above 0.3%, the pace of inflation decline will be slower than expected. High interest rates will continue to suppress all non-yielding risk assets.
BTC has institutional ETF support, so selling pressure is relatively mild;
ETH is more affected by the opportunity cost of DeFi funds, with capital flowing out from on-chain staking to U.S. Treasuries;
$SOL has the strongest speculative nature, with hot money fleeing fastest, and its retracement is usually the largest among the three.
Second, Middle East geopolitical tensions push up oil prices.
Brent crude stabilizing above $100 for a period directly raises overall CPI. This is supply-driven inflation; even if the Fed knows it is not driven by domestic demand, it will still signal maintaining tightening.
Third, massive U.S. Treasury supply pushes up term premiums.
Long-term bond yields rise spontaneously, tightening financial conditions passively. ETH’s DeFi and stablecoin ecosystems will continue to be under pressure.
✅ Mild baseline: pause + dovish tilt, yields decline, resilience ranking SOL > ETH > BTC.
Hawkish tilt: defensive picks are BTC and OKB
Even if there is no rate hike this time, it is not a turning point for easing; a true turning point requires a clear decline in core inflation for 2-3 consecutive months. Nearly 40 million liquidated in 12 hours, after leverage clearing, who is the most at risk? BTC is the main battlefield: largest amount, nearly 30% share, longs absolutely dominant, shorts only about 7% — long leverage squeezed tightly together, concentrated liquidation, a typical long-on-long kill. ETH is in a tug-of-war: second largest total, longs have the upper hand, but shorts also liquidated 5,458,900, about 37% share. So many shorts wiped out indicates a strong rebound wave midway. The most impressive aspect of this position set is not how much unrealized profit there is, but the risk control approach. Positions are separated by margin, leverage is kept low, and all three trades maintain ample margin. It's clear this isn't an impulsive all-in short; enough room for error was reserved in case the judgment was wrong.
The ETH short yielded the best returns, perfectly matching ETH's relatively weak performance during this rebound repair; the BTC short profits were thin, essentially stuck in a range boundary battle; the ZEC short capitalized on the continued pullback after previous leveraged long liquidations.
However, a warning must be raised: currently, this is only a technical repair phase, and ETF funds have not clearly flowed back. Once BTC volume surges and firmly holds above 83,000, these shorts will immediately be at a disadvantage.
Following the rhythm to short is fine, but never treat unrealized profits as confirmation of a settled trend. Reversals in choppy markets often happen within a single strong bullish candle.
$ETH #特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点 U.S. tech stocks staged a late-night counterattack, but South Korean stocks collectively plunged! Where is the money really flowing?
Last night, the U.S. stock market saw a "tech counterattack": the Nasdaq rose 1.11%, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index ended an eight-day losing streak, with SanDisk, SK Hynix, Micron, and Western Digital all rallying. But today, South Korean stocks turned sharply negative: the KOSPI fell 3.73%, hitting a new low since April, with Samsung and SK Hynix plunging intraday. On one side, U.S. chip stocks are recovering; on the other, the South Korean AI sector is under pressure, indicating that funds are not fully returning but rather engaging in oversold recovery plus sector rotation.
Regarding U.S. Treasury yields, the latest data does not support a "synchronized yield decline." On October 19th, at the New York close, 2-year, 10-year, and 30-year Treasury yields all rose, with the 10-year around 5.14%. Therefore, it cannot be simply said that the bond market is benefiting tech stocks; it is more likely an emotional recovery after the oversold U.S. tech stocks.
Personally, I remain cautiously optimistic about the U.S. tech sector tonight: if the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index holds steady, SanDisk, SK Hynix ADR, and Micron all have recovery opportunities. But South Korean stocks were crushed too hard today, indicating that AI financing costs and valuation divergences have not yet been resolved. In terms of trading, avoid chasing highs; wait for confirmation of support from the U.S. market tonight before acting.
#ETF持续流出,BTC反弹能否延续? Nightclub Hostess's Diary of Getting into Crypto Trading
The South Korean stock market suddenly plunged, with foreign capital rushing out in clusters, causing the entire Asia-Pacific risk market to tighten up instantly.
The KOSPI index hit a low of 4.76% intraday, breaking below 5500 directly. The little confidence gained from the rebound a couple of days ago was wiped out by a single bearish candle. The key point is not how much the index fell, but that foreign capital is withdrawing en masse. South Korea's market is heavily weighted in semiconductors, with Samsung and SK Hynix leading the sell-off, which happens to be the storage chain we've been closely watching. The sentiment is interconnected.
The underlying story is the same old script: rising US Treasury yields and weakening tech earnings expectations, prompting institutions to first pull money from the more elastic emerging tech sector.
This transmission cannot be ignored for crypto either. South Korean retail investors are an important source of funds in the crypto space, and during stock market panic, many simultaneously reduce crypto holdings to hedge risk. The Nasdaq, storage sector, BTC, and ETH essentially share the same risk appetite.
But don't just short blindly because of the plunge.
Don't assume the bottom has come just because of a big drop in one day; nor should you panic-buy the dip. Right now, funds are simply repricing risk.
In the short term, for Bitcoin, there is an additional layer of external disturbance, making the 80000-83000 range more prone to being swept back and forth. Leverage must be managed carefully.
To put it plainly, the Korean stock market is more like a canary in the coal mine, warning us that the confidence in global risk assets is very fragile. The rebound is not a one-way street; every news shock in the oscillation phase tends to amplify spikes.
$BTC $ETH Nightclub hostess's diary of getting into crypto trading
This wave of rebound, frankly, is just a slight easing of macro pressure, plus a repair rally driven by short-term short sellers covering their positions. Don't rush to treat it as a new reversal.
The Nasdaq, semiconductor, and memory sectors are warming up together, giving risk assets a chance to catch a breath. But the core bottleneck for crypto has never been a single daily bullish candle; it's when ETF funds start flowing back in.
Last week, BTC and ETH spot ETFs were still experiencing net outflows; institutional big money hasn't returned at all. The overall environment of inflation and high-yield US Treasury bonds hasn't improved, so it's hard for the rebound to hold firm.
BTC holding 82,000 is just the first small hurdle; the real test comes when it pushes to 83,000, to see if there is solid and sustained buying, and whether tech earnings can continue to support sentiment.
It's fine to play lightly in the short term, but chasing highs is unnecessary; chasing gains in a volatile market is the easiest way to get hit.
#SpaceX's first full quarterly report after going public will be revealed $BTC $ETH "Three consecutive weeks of bloodletting, are the big players off-exchange pretending to sleep?"
Last week's ETF data is truly painful: BTC and ETH combined net outflow was about $549 million, with ETH alone seeing a weekly outflow of about $320 million, nearly 10 times the redemption intensity of BTC. For the week ending October 16, ETH spot ETFs have had net outflows for three consecutive weeks, with a cumulative outflow of about $955 million in October.
More importantly, the structure:
ETH outflows are highly concentrated in BlackRock's ETHA, accounting for about 85% of the single-day outflow on October 14. This looks more like a few large accounts rebalancing rather than a collective retail sell-off. But the reality is harsh — institutional patience is clearly thinner for ETH than for BTC, and ETH's rebound depends on the big players changing their minds first.
️ A few suggestions:
- Don't interpret single-day outflows as panic, but be wary of the inertia of continuous outflows
- ETH's weakness is unlikely to change in the short term, so don't rush to catch a falling knife
- Focus on whether ETHA redemptions slow down and whether BTC can stop falling first
Until risk appetite returns, the market is unlikely to have a decent rally. Retail investors are struggling on-exchange, but the money that decides the direction is watching from off-exchange — and that's the most frustrating part.
#ETF持续流出,BTC反弹能否延续? 🇺🇸The US suddenly softened its stance and plans to get those sanctioned oil tankers running again.
At first glance, this seems like a slap in the face to itself. But if you connect this with the election and inflation, everything becomes clear.
With the election approaching, people can't afford gas and prices are sky-high—how do you win votes? You have to bring down oil prices.
When crude oil drops, inflation expectations can catch a breather.
Once inflation stabilizes, the Federal Reserve has room to cut interest rates.
Only if the Fed cuts rates can the dried-up liquidity outside the market possibly overflow into our crypto space.
It's all interconnected.
But this is only a "plan" to resume.

In the past 24 hours, the entire network liquidated about $262 million to $293 million, with ETH shorts liquidated at $56.5 million, longs at $15.49 million, short/long ratio 3.65x; BTC shorts $29.32 million vs longs $10.57 million, short/long ratio 2.77x. ETH+BTC combined accounted for over 57% of liquidation weight, the main battlefield remains.
But if you only look at these 24 hours, you’ll miss the real script:
On October 15, US CPI/PPI consecutively exceeded expectations, BTC once dropped below $80,000, with $948 million leveraged liquidations across the network, 90.6% were longs. First kill the longs, kill them clean.
Then came these 24 hours: price bounced, shorts found their previously celebrated profits instantly wiped out, forced to cover losses, then precisely squeezed again.
In short: the market first kills longs, then shorts; essentially it’s a leverage purge, not a directional choice. High-leverage players get hit on both sides, spot holders are actually the safest.

#ETF持续流出,BTC反弹能否延续? The growth story of $CRCL USDC can't be judged by circulation alone!
Many focus on USDC's circulation hitting new highs and think Circle is stable. But what truly determines its long-term value is not "how many coins are on-chain," but where these coins are being used.
Three key observation dimensions:
- Payments and commercial settlements: Visa has used USDC for on-chain settlements with an annualized scale of $7 billion; companies like Meta and DoorDash have started using USDC to pay creators and drivers
- On-chain financial infrastructure: Circle, together with BlackRock and Visa, launched the Arc public chain aiming to become an institutional-grade settlement layer
- AI agent payments: Over 98% of AI agent payments choose USDC, making it the native currency of the machine economy era
But the reality is also clear:
Circle's revenue in the first half of the year was about $1.4 billion, of which $819 million (about 59%) went to channel commissions and transaction costs, leaving a net profit of only 7 cents per dollar. Circulation growth can signal demand, but whether it can convert into a sustainable business model is the core issue.
Before the Q3 earnings report on November 4, I will focus on whether USDC's actual use cases continue to expand and whether these uses can support a broader growth narrative.
#ETF持续流出,BTC反弹能否延续? The price plunge is just a ventricular premature beat on the ECG monitor; the real threat lies in the unstable plaque in the coronary artery—BlackRock's Bitcoin Buffer Protection Fund filed with the US SEC is like temporarily fitting a high-risk myocardium with an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
First, the diagnosis: it’s not a spot fund but an option linked to its own spot Bitcoin fund, combined with short-duration fixed income, performing a palliative surgery with capped upside and buffered downside. The capped returns are like clamping the aorta: reducing blood loss but also limiting perfusion; principal is not guaranteed, equivalent to no extracorporeal circulation safety net. The option is not myocardium but a temporary pacemaker—it can correct rhythm but cannot eliminate coronary stenosis; if counterparties, volatility pricing, or roll costs cause thrombosis, the buffer will fall off when most needed.
From anesthesia induction perspective, this structure fears low perfusion most: when the market rises, returns are capped, like distal tissue hypoxia after aortic clamping; when the market falls, the buffer is limited, like a tourniquet that can only compress capillaries but not stop arterial rupture. Principal not guaranteed is a hard red line, meaning the pre-op consultation cannot promise "zero risk exit." For risk-averse capital, this is a restrictive plan after pre-op evaluation, attracting some "myocardium" unwilling to be directly exposed to Bitcoin’s high volatility; but it also diverts blood flow originally destined for spot funds, causing shunting.
The limited scale of similar products indicates low market compliance with palliative treatment. Approval is not an ethical slogan but a hemodynamic assessment: whether the buffer is real, liquidity sufficient, bleeding can be stopped under extreme conditions, whether option counterparties might suddenly stop, and if redemptions could cause cardiac tamponade. If approved, new allocation demand would resemble collateral circulation, not heart transplantation.
Looking at linkage: tokenized US stock targets show peripheral hypoperfusion first when risk appetite contracts, sharing the same sympathetic excitation as Bitcoin buffer products. Don’t be anesthetized by the word "protection"; protection limits infarct size, not restores ejection fraction. What the market truly needs is not more pain pumps but coronary angiography: to see clearly where funds come from, where they go, and which segment is already stenosed. If BlackRock’s application is approved, it only installs an adjustable balloon counterpulsation on a highly volatile myocardium, with limited flow and very narrow indications.
The real lesion is not in the product structure but in the market treating volatility as a tumor that can be excised—it’s just a symptom; hemostatic clamps cannot stop arrhythmia. #blackrockbtcbufferetfBTC shows intraday weakness with fluctuations; after a midday pullback, no obvious panic occurred, indicating the market is still waiting for a new directional choice. Recently, traditional financial channels have continuously improved external transfer services for BTC and ETH, and the boundaries of institutional participation are gradually expanding, which provides some support for the long-term liquidity narrative. However, short-term prices are more influenced by macro sentiment, ETF capital flows, and leveraged positions. The current key is not the daily rise or fall, but whether there is sustained support during pullbacks; when volume is insufficient, the market tends to maintain consolidation to digest.#美国拟恢复受制裁油轮运营 The U.S. intends to lift restrictions on some sanctioned oil tankers, allowing them to resume shipping operations. This news mainly impacts the oil shipping sector, with a relatively mild effect on oil prices.
These tankers were previously forced to halt operations due to sanctions, effectively locking up shipping capacity, which was one of the supports for the previous strength in oil shipping rates. If the policy is implemented, the release of idle capacity will increase tanker supply, likely weakening oil shipping rates and putting pressure on oil shipping stocks.
However, it is important to distinguish: allowing tankers to operate is only the lifting of restrictions on transportation means, not the lifting of sanctions on crude oil itself or a direct increase in crude oil production. The fundamental supply and demand of crude oil remains unchanged. Oil prices are more influenced by a slight easing of geopolitical risk premiums, mainly fluctuating, making a sharp one-sided drop unlikely.
Deeper signal: this represents a marginal relaxation of U.S. energy sanctions and a cooling of geopolitical risk pricing. Overall, this is a short-term event-driven development; its sustainability depends on subsequent official documents, the tonnage of tankers allowed to operate, and the corresponding cargo sources. ETH follows the overall market adjustment, but on-chain fundamentals discussions have not cooled down. Recently, traditional financial institutions continue to extend settlement and deposit token businesses into the Ethereum ecosystem, indicating that ETH's core value still lies in asset tokenization and application hosting capabilities. After the market pullback, there is support, but short-term funds are unwilling to blindly chase highs. The market places more emphasis on mainnet activity, L2 capital flow, and institutional allocation rhythm. As long as mainstream fund sentiment remains stable, ETH remains an important indicator for observing the strength or weakness of the public chain sector. $ETHXRP has been relatively weak recently, with intraday rebound attempts, but selling pressure above remains obvious, indicating that the market is still cautious about pricing the payment narrative. XRP's advantages are high recognition and ample liquidity, so once the market warms up, it can easily become a target for capital rotation; however, to establish an independent trend, stronger actual catalysts are needed, such as progress in institutional products, cross-border payment application data, or ecosystem news. Currently, it looks more like a phase of divergence between bulls and bears, and it is not advisable to treat short-term fluctuations as a trend reversal before a volume breakout. $XRPGoldman Sachs raised the rating from "Neutral" to "Buy" on the board, while simultaneously slashing the target price from 139 to 106 — this is not an upgrade, it's like pushing a pawn to the opponent's baseline to exchange your own bishop and rook; the piece is still on the board, but its position is already crippled.
Last week, CoreWeave dropped about a quarter, and long-term bond yields tore through 15 points. A grandmaster immediately understood: this is not a midgame pawn sacrifice, this is a broken pawn chain. Your cash burn rate is faster than the pace of financing moves; the bishop on the rear wing hasn't left the palace yet, but the opponent's rook has already pressed to the second rank. JPMorgan says debt and burn risks are exaggerated, and project returns can cover financing costs — it sounds like "my knight has an exit to the sea," but you have to first calculate twenty moves ahead whether the opponent will promote the pawn or not.
The most truthful move during the session was the spike to 7% and then the pullback, closing with a loss of 0.44. Opening high and closing low is a typical sign of softening after long consideration. Ratings are the public opinion's piece maneuvering; the target price is the real position evaluation. The rating went up, but the target price went down, indicating the research desk knows clearly: the long-term contract orders are like passed pawns in an endgame — they look good, but how many moves and escort resources are needed to push them through, no one dares to guarantee under the timer.
Putting this board together with XAVGO's linkage on the same coordinate is even more interesting. The correlation between US stock compute power targets and token assets is becoming like two strongholds on the same pawn chain — one gets hit, the other also wobbles. This is a line blockade: you think you are hedging two different assets, but actually you are moving along the same diagonal line, and the opponent's bishop pins down both your pieces simultaneously.
True experts looking at this situation don't focus on "whether the rating can improve sentiment" as a one-liner judgment. Sentiment is the second hand on the chess clock; no matter how fast it turns, it doesn't change the piece comparison. The core issue is only one: can the long-term compute power contract, this passed pawn, survive on the open line of financing costs without being captured? The 15-point bond yield is the opponent's heavy piece pressing on the open line; every step you push the pawn forward, you must first calculate if there is a counter-sacrifice.
Goldman Sachs lowering the target price but raising the rating is a combination move with a more straightforward explanation in chess: they want to appear proactive but dare not promise material advantage. In this situation, I wouldn't rush into the midgame — first see if the opponent can truly convert the 15-point pressure into a siege, then see if the long-term contract can really exchange for a rook.
Raising the rating is a move, the target price is an evaluation, and the closing bearish candle is the pressing of the timer. #coreweaveratingupgradeThe volatility of SOL has clearly narrowed in the past two days.
On the 19th, the full-day volatility was 2.59%, and from the 20th until now, it’s only 1.77%, the narrowest two days in a week. From the 12th to the 18th, the intraday volatility ranged from 4% to 7%, with the 12th and 13th even exceeding 7%. Now it suddenly dropped below 3%, with the price repeatedly fluctuating between 104 and 105, reducing the range of movement.
After hitting a low of 100.43 on the 18th, it recovered to 105 on the 19th, and on the 20th it’s oscillating between 104 and 105, neither falling back nor breaking above 106. The trading volume is also cooperating: 1.87 million units on the 19th, and only 410,000 units by 3 PM on the 20th, much less than the same period on the 19th. The volume hasn’t kept up; the current volatility is just existing funds changing hands.
During the week from the 12th to the 18th, SOL had daily volatility above 4%, with the price dropping from 111 to 100, then pulling back to 104. Now the volatility has narrowed to within 3%, signaling that this tug-of-war has paused, with both bulls and bears waiting for a clear signal.
Volatility narrowing usually happens before a directional choice. If it continues to narrow over the next two days and the price holds between 104 and 105, it means strength is accumulating. Conversely, if volatility suddenly expands and volume increases simultaneously, it’s time to choose a direction. There’s no rush to act now; wait for volume confirmation. $SOL $BTC BTC retraced to 81500, $ETH fell below 2400 — it's not a fundamental collapse, but a capital seesaw effect.

JPMorgan Chase directly cast dollar deposit certificates onto the Ethereum mainnet, opening 24/7 transfer, settlement, and collateral management to approved institutional clients. This is not building a new building; it's moving the vault into an already operational city's underground utility tunnel. Other banks are still drawing blueprints for their own chains: building new cities from scratch, first constructing roads, then attracting businesses, then waiting for population inflow, which may take a decade without success. JPMorgan chose the most seasoned approach—connecting to existing municipal infrastructure, leveraging existing road networks, and tapping into the liquidity already settled on-chain.
From a structural selection perspective, this step is correct. Liquidity and tokenized asset ecosystems are the foundation bearing capacity of this site; the geotechnical report for this site has been repeatedly verified, so there is no need to redo static load tests or gamble on unknown soil conditions again.
But I must point out a node deliberately downplayed on the blueprint: the real load-bearing walls are not on-chain. The entire weight of this deposit certificate rests on the main pillar of the bank's balance sheet; the on-chain layer is just a curtain wall. The curtain wall can be made extremely beautiful, with modular panels, ultra-clear glass, and fluorocarbon spraying—transparent, modern, and replicable; but when an earthquake comes, what determines whether the building collapses are the columns and shear walls, not the facade. The so-called on-chain dollar deposit is essentially "a creditor's claim on a bank" dressed in a new exterior material. No matter how new the material is, the load-bearing system remains old.
What truly deserves attention is the settlement and collateral management layer—that is equivalent to building an underground utility tunnel for the entire area, burying water, electricity, gas, and communications all at once. Once the utility tunnel is built, all subsequent buildings must connect to it. Whoever controls the maintenance access of the tunnel controls the floor area ratio allocation rights of this area.
As for the premium linkage of surrounding plots, those model rooms adjacent to the main building are most likely to be sold as completed units before the main structure is topped out. The utilities in the model rooms are temporarily connected, the foundations are built separately, sharing the same address as the main building but not the same load-bearing system. The facade can be copied, but construction quality cannot; renderings can be created, but hidden works inspection records cannot.
The white paper is just a design drawing. I never look at renderings, only at reinforcement drawings and hidden works inspection records. #jpmcoinonethereum** Market Overview: Strong Prices, Weak Capital, Who's Really Buying?**
BTC — 83,100
Prices look strong, but the spot ETF reported a net outflow of about $331 million, with IBIT accounting for about $326 million. This indicates that a short-term price rebound does not mean institutional demand has recovered; the ETF channel is still bleeding.
ETH — 2,418
Rebounded from about $2,180, sentiment has somewhat recovered. However, investment products continue to see outflows, with last week's ETP net outflow around $249 million to $320 million, with redemption pressure mainly concentrated in a few large products. ETH's short-term movement looks more like a "price correction" rather than a capital reversal.
ZEC — 1,191
Quickly surged from $1,048, showing strong short-term momentum. But its previous gains were excessive, with crowded leverage positions, and ETF funds have also started to flow out. This kind of rebound is highly elastic and will have more volatile fluctuations.
In short: BTC prices are strong but ETFs are weak, ETH is rebounding but capital is still withdrawing, ZEC has strong momentum but unstable chips. Now is not the time to just look at prices; we need to see where the money is really flowing. 🫡

#ETF持续流出,BTC反弹能否延续? BTC vs ETH: Which Will Reflow First? My Judgment: BTC First, ETH Later
Current capital flow still favors BTC to reflow first. Although in some periods of 2026 ETH ETF inflows are faster, with cumulative ETH ETF inflows of about $1.5 billion this year, higher than BTC's $985 million; BTC ETF holdings are about $109 billion, while ETH's are only about $18 billion. BTC remains the primary choice for institutional allocation.
Exceptions and variables:
- If ETH has its own catalysts: strengthened staking yield narrative, regulatory benefits, significant on-chain activity rebound, ETH may synchronize or even temporarily lead.
- If macro conditions quickly turn accommodative and US Treasury yields fall, risk appetite rises, ETH has greater elasticity.
- If ETH's relative outflow continues to increase, it indicates short-term institutional preference is still weaker than BTC.
In short: BTC leads the inflow due to its core status and scale advantage, ETH needs risk appetite recovery or its own narrative ignition.
It is recommended to continuously track SoSoValue and Farside's ETF daily/weekly data, as well as US Treasury yields, inflation data, and risk asset performance.
Personally, I still believe: BTC will reflow first, followed by ETH. 🫡
