New exchanges cannot outperform Binance in $BTC liquidity. They win by listing exclusive tokens that can't be bought elsewhere.
This is Hyperliquid's approach. That's also why Quantus performing well is indeed important for $NEAR — it's their own exchange, their own ecosystem gravity.
Exclusivity > liquidity competition. $ETH $BTC $SOL In one sentence from Walsh, the October rate hike expectation was cut from 27% to below 15%.
With such a strong CPI, the market was originally expecting a hawkish stance, but then he said "no pre-commitment to rate decisions," and the dollar immediately softened, with BTC following the trend and rallying.
But don't rush to call a bull market. The volume simply hasn't kept up; this looks more like a breather, not a big liquidity injection.
He also didn't deny there could be action in December, just no clear guidance, effectively handing the steering wheel back to the data. In plain language: don't relax, the stance can change anytime. A single slightly strong data point can revert the doves back to their original position.
So the best move now is to hold back, wait for a real direction, and don't assume the bull market is back just because of one bullish candle. $BTCCoreWeave reduced holdings by 3.3 billion, AI financing risks are heating up, and risk appetite decline is suppressing high-beta assets like ETH. I lean short-term bearish. The four-hour chart shows a pullback of 11.60% from the high, with the downtrend not yet stopped. Current price is 2426.67, down slightly 0.4% in 24 hours, with a trading volume of only 25.15 million. The top ten buy orders total 1142 versus 4079 sell orders, with a strength ratio of 0.28, indicating obvious selling pressure. The funding rate of 0.0066% remains positive, with open interest at 589,000; longs have not fully cleared, making rebounds vulnerable to selling pressure. Strategically, a light short position can be taken on a rebound to 2451.3, with a stop loss at 2478.6 and a target of 2385.4; if there is a sharp drop to 2396.8 and stabilization, a short-term long can be taken, with a stop loss at 2372.5 and a target of 2443.2. Single position size should not exceed 10%, exit immediately if the position breaks.

BTC's resilience is really strong, ETH only follows the big brother
BTC at 80,000 is ridiculously tough. ETF spot outflows continue, but the price stubbornly hasn't broken down; instead, it bounced back to 82,000. Data plus market sentiment suggest a low probability of a rate hike this month. But 83,800 is strong resistance, and now it's a range tug-of-war. Strategy: watch support and resistance closely, follow the trend on a breakout, don't take sides prematurely.
ETH is around 2,440, its movement completely mirrors BTC. To trade ETH, no need to study it independently, just watch BTC's mood. When the big brother moves, it moves.
In short: holding 80,000 is real, the reversal hasn't come yet. Control your trades during the consolidation, follow after a breakout.
#ETF与巨鲸资金分化,BTC能否守住8万美元? $BTC $ETH #NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins 4.08 million $BTC have landed in the hands of short-term holders! Why do I feel like the powder keg for Bitcoin's next big wave of volatility is already stacked?
Brothers, don't just focus on BTC rising a few hundred or dropping a few thousand dollars today! This on-chain data set, I think, is even more worth pondering than the candlestick charts!
The latest data shows that short-term Bitcoin holders hold 4.08 million coins, hitting a new high since mid-June. Compared to the end of July, that's an increase of 422,000 coins, about a 12% rise!
At first glance, it looks great! Newcomers are still entering, and some are willing to take the coins, indicating the market isn't cooling off.
But I'm actually a bit worried, because buying more doesn't mean holding more steadily!
Why do I say that?
First, new buyers mainly entered around $82,000 to $86,000. This batch of coins has a high cost basis, so if BTC dips a bit, some might get restless.
Second, buying momentum has clearly slowed! About 154,000 coins were added in the first two weeks of October, but only 48,000 in the past week. People are still buying, but the enthusiasm is noticeably less than before.
Third, and what I care about most: the unrealized profit buffer for short-term holders has shrunk from 16% to 10%!
What does this mean? Previously, a small drop was just a correction; now, if it falls a bit more deeply, some might start rushing to exit!
Personally, I don't think this is purely bearish. It's better to have someone taking the coins than no one, but the more concentrated the short-term holdings, the more sensitive the market is to price fluctuations. This time, both CPI and PPI were hotter than expected, causing Bitcoin to drop to around 79,800. Many thought it would break down, but the price only stayed around 80,000 briefly before buying pressure pushed it back above 81,000, completing a rebound within a few hours. This kind of drop immediately caught by buyers is more convincing than just looking at the numbers. I consider the area around 80,000 as the current key defense line, mainly based on: 1. Macro-wise, there is a bit of a breather. Warsh did not give a clear signal for rate hikes, and the probability of a rate hike in October was revised down to 15%. Although yields remain high, at least there is no further hawkish increase, and with no further macro deterioration, this price level is easier to defend. 2. Technically, multiple factors overlap. The uptrend line is roughly at 80,400, the 50-day moving average is also nearby, and the average cost for spot ETFs is around 81,500 to 82,300. Breaking below this range would cause many institutional positions to turn to losses, and there have been quite obvious buy orders on the order book.Hawk or dove? $BTC hovers around 82015, 24h +1.51%. OKX retail 1.57 bullish, whales 0.64, amount ratio 0.79 bearish. My view: whales are taking profits first, retail holds firm, a sign before a market shift. 📉

Lying in bed on Saturday watching the market, the more I watch, the more uneasy I feel: retail investors are overwhelmingly long on SOL and ETH at 2.24, and BTC also at 1.80, all directions shining bright. Where the crowd is, I actually want to avoid.
BTC whales are even more interesting: number of holders at 0.59 is bearish, but positions at 1.23 increased by 22.21%, bearish in words but money is flowing in, the number of holders is just noise. On the ETF side, ETH outflows nearly 190 million in two days, ETHA dumped 18,341 coins; BTC outflowed 10.6 million yesterday, traditional funds are hesitant on BTC but more decisive on ETH.
Market: SOL at 104.36 down 0.85%, positions cut by 5.32%; ETH at 2417 down 0.75%; BTC at 81457 down 0.94%. Top five gainers are all new faces, mainstream absent; 5-minute BTC shorts at 65.84%; 24-hour SOL longs liquidated nearly 80%, 83,061 people are long-heavy, the short squeeze is not over.
Today I am bearish. Orders: SOL short at 106, stop loss if breaks 107.5, target 102; ETH short at 2440, stop loss if breaks 2470, target 2380; BTC short at 81800, stop loss if breaks 82300, target 80800.
Retail investors, don’t take slogans as road signs, real money positions are the direction; when the market is not going your way, let the screen rest, and you rest too. PPI data has once again significantly exceeded expectations, bringing macro-level bearish factors back into play. At this stage, do not rashly enter the market to bottom-fish. September PPI rose 1.3% month-on-month, while the market originally expected only 0.5%; core PPI rose 0.7% month-on-month, with an expectation of 0.3%, marking two consecutive months of increase. This round of inflation rise is not only driven by energy; service industries and midstream production costs are rising simultaneously, and inflationary pressure has penetrated more sectors. The expectation of "high interest rates lasting longer" has returned to view, and risk assets will bear the brunt first. Crypto assets have no interest income and rely heavily on market liquidity, so the impact is most direct when liquidity tightens. Simple summary of coins: • $BTC rebound pattern faces risk of breaking down; key to watch if supports at 82000 and 80800 can hold, and whether buying funds can return. • $ETH lacks fundamental positives combined with macro negatives; rebound foundation is weak, frequent spike-and-drop moves occur, do not be fooled by brief rallies. • $SOL high volatility also means higher fragility; when market risk appetite declines, it falls earlier and more sharply; must wait for a bigRecently, the US CrossRiver Bank officially integrated the RLUSD stablecoin into its core banking system, marking a significant signal of traditional compliant banks connecting with crypto stablecoins, with far-reaching impact on the entire industry.
Simply put, the greatest value of this cooperation is that it opens a channel between traditional finance and on-chain settlement. Various financial enterprises no longer need to build separate blockchain systems; they can achieve 24/7 real-time transfers and cross-border fund allocation through bank interfaces, solving pain points such as traditional banks stopping settlements after hours, slow fund arrivals, and high fees, greatly improving capital flow efficiency.
At the same time, this allows RLUSD to completely break out of the exchange speculation category and become a compliant settlement tool usable by formal institutions, greatly enhancing the Ripple project's practical endorsement and industry recognition.
However, everyone should not overhype the benefits; there are obvious shortcomings. The integration involves the stablecoin RLUSD, which has no direct essential connection with XRP and will not bring a large amount of buying pressure. Also, this is only a technical interface opening, not a large-scale commercial rollout.
Additionally, US stablecoin regulatory rules are not yet finalized, and there remain risks of policy changes in the future. Overall, this is a long-term industry positive, but in the short term, it is more of an emotional hype. Everyone must view it rationally and avoid blindly following the trend. Inflation has exploded again, but the market is betting that the Federal Reserve won’t take action. This feeling is even more uncomfortable than a direct rate hike.
September CPI year-over-year is 3.7%, core CPI year-over-year is 2.6%, all exceeding expectations; PPI year-over-year is 6.3%, month-over-month 1.3%, the strongest since March 2022. The moment the data came out, the market almost reflexively dropped. But the really interesting part came afterward: On October 16, Walsh stood at the IMF podium and didn’t mention the October rate path at all, directly saying he would “no longer pre-announce policy inclinations to the market.” The market grabbed this like a lifeline, pushing the probability of an October rate hike down from around 28% to about 15%.
But there’s a hidden thorn many haven’t pulled out: Walsh’s “silence” was read as dovish, but he didn’t even sign off on the September dot plot and said at Jackson Hole that “inflation is more concerning than employment.” When the meeting room door closes on October 28, no one outside really knows which way he will cast his vote. The market treats 15% as a safety cushion, but this cushion is made of paper.
Market situation: three assets, three ways of being trapped
$BTC: The most awkward middle layer. It broke below 81,000, then was fished back near 82,000 from below 80,000, but ETFs still had net outflows this week. Above is the hard inflation data pressing down, below is the expectation of “no rate hike” supporting it; both sides are pulling, narrowing volatility to a sleep-inducing level. The biggest fear at times like this is mistaking the consolidation for safety, then being pierced directly by a sudden repricing candlestick.
$ETH: Its elasticity is both its weapon and its trap. Repeated friction around 2,400, with moving averages in a tight bearish alignment. $ETH’s problem has never been direction, but every time rate expectations shake, its volatility amplifies. Short-term breakout chasers have an absurdly low margin for error in this market—what you think is a breakout is just it running one step ahead before turning back.
$SOL: Getting slapped from both sides. It broke below the 111 trendline, stuck in the 100-105 range, with the 20-day and 50-day moving averages pressing down. More troubling, its on-chain data is weakening simultaneously: trading volume dropped to a weekly low, daily active addresses fell to 3.74 million, and core ecosystem assets like JUP and RAY have fallen even harder than $SOL itself. $BTC and $ETH are at least waiting for macro signals to give direction; $SOL is pressed by macro and its ecosystem is deflating. This kind of “double squeeze” asset rebounds fastest but has no support on the downside.
My judgment, to put it bluntly
CPI and PPI are hard negative factors, but the market chooses to temporarily ignore them—not because the negatives disappeared, but because Walsh has shut his mouth and the market can’t find the next pricing anchor. This “vacuum period” easily creates an illusion: if it can’t fall, it must be strong. But historically, before every rate hike landing, the market was cut down sharply in a similar illusion.
Before October 28, watch if $BTC breaks out of the 80,000-83,000 cage first, if $ETH can reclaim 2,400, and if anyone will truly defend the psychological 100 level for $SOL with real money. If $SOL’s on-chain data continues to decline while the price consolidates, its rebound is just liquidity for shorts, not a reversal.
Inflation isn’t dead; the Fed is just temporarily silent. Don’t mistake silence for gentleness.
#特斯拉发布新一代Roadster,行情走高 #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #SpaceX上市后首份完整季度财报将揭晓 Jin Ming's interview with Sun Yuchen, revealing Sun Ge's latest top 5 assets:
◦ $BTC: Although very concerned about the impact of quantum computing on BTC and pessimistic about the BTC community's response, no reduction in BTC holdings. It is allocated as a base position.
◦ $ETH: Last year, most of the ETH (80-90%) was reduced in the $3600-4000 range, leaving a portion as a base position. The reduced portion has not been bought back yet.
◦ Most of the funds from reducing ETH holdings went into the US stock market, believing that capital is clustering and flowing in. The main US stock position is $NVDA Nvidia — allocated as a base position in the AI field.
◦ Nasdaq 100 is considered a heavy position. Slightly bearish in the mid-term but no shorting, holdings remain.
◦ No holdings in A-shares. Some research is done, such as on optical modules.
Of course, their discussion of the above asset allocation is on the premise of "except for TRON." The interview time should be around early October during Token2049.September CPI year-on-year 3.7%, core CPI month-on-month steady at 0.3% for two consecutive months, PPI year-on-year directly hit 6.3%, marking the largest increase since 2022. Energy is the obvious driver, with diesel once surging to a historic high of $6.528 per gallon, but the real killer is housing and core services—housing month-on-month rose from 0.3% to 0.4%, contributing nearly half of the core CPI increase, and "super core" services year-on-year rebounded from 3.1% to 3.2%. The foundation of inflation is not rotten; its stickiness remains. Logically, with such data, risk assets should be down. But Wash's stance at the IMF annual meeting was subtle: acknowledging stubborn inflation but refusing to make any commitment to a rate hike in October, only dropping the line "reality broadly aligns with our expectations." The market instantly pushed the probability of an October rate hike from 43.7% after the data release down to 15%. But if you relax just by looking at this number, you fall into a trap—the probability of a 25 basis point hike in December still hangs around 77%. This is the most contradictory aspect of the current market: loose in the near term, tight in the long term. If the sentiment of "wanting to add to positions but fearing the losses will deepen" starts to increase, then is this phase of ETH more like hesitation before a launch, or the last self-comfort before distribution? I've been closely watching ETH's market recently, and there's a very subtle feeling: price volatility is narrowing, the candlesticks seem to be quietly gathering strength, but the trading volume hasn't responded with particular enthusiasm. This kind of "quietness" is actually very important when viewed in the context of a trend phase. It could be a buildup before a launch, a consolidation in the middle of a continuation, or even a quiet accumulation of divergence. The difference lies in whether incremental funds are willing to absorb selling pressure at key levels later on. The original dilemma of wanting to average down costs but worrying about short positions not recovering is very real. Short positions around 850 needing to break even are essentially betting on the price returning to a certain range, but the market won't cooperate just because someone's position is uncomfortable. If ETH continues to trade sideways with shrinking volume, the bullish logic is: selling pressure is slowly being digested, and once an ETF, macro, or ecosystem narrative ignites, it can be quickly driven up, with short covering amplifying volatility. But the risk is also straightforward: if the rebound never gains momentum and altcoins fail to follow, this "quietness" could be a false calm before distribution, and adding to positions might actually increase risk. Looking at ZEC, many people treat "liquidation price safety" as a talisman, but safety is relative. Once volatility expands, the distance will be quickly eaten up, especially for small-cap coins where depth and slippage worsen when sentiment shifts. What really matters is not that one number, but whether the overall position can withstand a sudden emotional turnaround. The company estimates that Q3 revenue and EPS will both be below Wall Street's previous expectations, but operating profit margin is expected to improve significantly; the market is focusing on the advertising business and user activity.Couldn't resist checking the market again over the weekend—damn, I just can't control this habit.
Let's start with the data, no beating around the bush.
$BTC spot net outflow is 17.19 million in 1 hour, 26.25 million in 4 hours. Futures are running even faster: 85.73 million in 1 hour, 59.8 million in 4 hours. Spot still shows a 17.5 million net inflow over 24 hours, but in the last few hours, active selling clearly dominates. Long-term money hasn't left, but short-term buying is falling behind. For the rebound to survive, someone has to step up and take over, but no one is doing that now.
Macro is also conflicted: Trump's tussle with the Fed has pushed the dollar down, $BTC briefly touched 87,600, but uncertainties about tariffs and interest rate paths still hang overhead. In this environment, rebounds can happen, but those chasing the rebound need to ask themselves if they can handle the pullbacks.
$ETH is making me itch. Spot net inflow over 24 hours is 41.3 million, but only 360,000 in 4 hours, and a direct net outflow of 5.87 million in 1 hour. Futures saw 75.27 million inflow in 4 hours, but 30.37 million outflow in 1 hour. Bulls and bears are indecisive, coming in and out repeatedly, which is exhausting. But one thing can't be ignored: $ETH spot ETFs have had net inflows for 10 consecutive days, with BlackRock and Fidelity continuously accumulating. Institutions are acting as a human floor in the 2300-2400 range. The floor is real, but so is the ceiling—I won't guess the direction, I'll wait for it to choose itself.
$SOL is the most conflicted among the three. Spot net inflows in 1 hour, 4 hours, and 24 hours are 180,000, 2.83 million, and 26.19 million respectively—spot is catching, no problem there. But futures show a 93.37 million net outflow over 24 hours, running faster than anyone else. There's news: BlackRock's spot $SOL ETF application has been officially submitted, and Alpenglow's upgrade aims to push final confirmation to the millisecond level. But FTX/Alameda still hold $SOL potential selling pressure worth 1.1 billion dollars, and ETF inflows are slowing. Spot catching is good, but futures not turning back means the rise won't go far. The two sides are fighting; it's entertaining to watch, but not good for the market.
I opened a $BTC ant position short at 81,431 on OKX. The position isn't large, but my stance is clear.
The logic is simple: short-term buying is falling behind, active selling dominates, and leveraged longs are crowded on one side—the long-short ratio once broke 3:1, with long liquidations twice the size of shorts, making the structure fragile. I'm not bearish long-term; I'm betting that the buying won't catch up in this phase and someone has to feel the pain first. If it breaks 83,904, I'll admit defeat and exit, taking profits in batches on the way down. The ant position means: right, don't be reckless; wrong, don't get hurt.
So on this "buying falling behind" wave, which side are you on? Do you think the spot net inflow can hold, or like me, believe short-term needs a washout first? Let's discuss in the comments, everybody 😀

My view is that I believe the golden era of this iconic company has passed.Today, while browsing on-chain data, I discovered a very strong player. BitMine released its latest position update on October 12: last week, it bought another 12,532 ETH, bringing its total holdings to 6,028,946 ETH—about 6.03 million. What does 6.03 million ETH mean? It accounts for 4.9% of the total ETH supply. In other words, for every 20 ETH in circulation, 1 is held by BitMine. At the current price of $2,430, this position is worth about $14.6 billion. Including cash and other investments, BitMine's total assets are approximately $16.2 billion. Even more astonishing is the timeframe. Fifteen months ago, BitMine's ETH holdings were zero. Starting from zero, it bought 6.03 million ETH in 15 months, averaging 400,000 ETH per month. This is not investing; this is stockpiling. Moreover, it bought during a crash. Last week, BTC broke $80,000, ETH dropped to $2,317, the market panicked, and 185,000 people were liquidated. BitMine bought another 12,532 ETH at this time—while others were cutting losses, it was adding to its position. Why is BitMine so bullish on ETH? I think there are three reasons. First, ETH's deflationary model. After EIP-1559, a portion of the transaction fees for every ETH transaction is burned. When the network is active, more ETH is burned than newly issued, making ETH a deflationary asset. BitMine is hoarding an increasingly scarce asset. Second, ETH staking income...At Friday's close, the Nasdaq fell 2.15%, the S&P dropped 1.09%, and the Nasdaq lost 4.48% for the week, marking its worst week since April. None of the 30 components of the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index were up; the storage index fell 6.28%. CoreWeave dropped 12% in one day and 25% for the week, with debt exceeding 51 billion, and the price of default insurance implies a more than 60% probability of default over the next five years.
On the other hand, Bank of America said U.S. equity funds saw inflows of 39 billion in a single week, annualizing to 636 billion, a record. But the same firm's strategist also said they want to lay low for the next month. Money is flowing in, people are at the door, but it's all so twisted.
Waller swallowed his words and said he won't make predictions for the remaining two meetings this year. The bet on a rate hike in October dropped from 27.7% to 17.2%, while the odds of no change rose to 82%. Starting today, the blackout period begins, and no one is coming out to correct the narrative.
Oil prices are still pressing overhead, with WTI at 101.9 and Brent at 110; energy is one of the few sectors closing in the green among eleven sectors.
Those who drive sports cars understand this kind of tension—when cash flow is still coming in, the real question is whether you dare to finish this tank of gas. I've been watching these past two days, waiting for it to give its own answer.
Personal record sharing, not investment advice. What do you think over there? Let's chat together. Brent crude oil hits the second highest level this year, Federal Reserve rate hike coming at the end of the month, midterm elections approaching! Where is the market headed?
Woke up to Brent crude hitting $110, New York crude hitting the $100 mark; this suppressed the oversold rebound momentum of risk assets as well as the short-to-medium term rebound demand for gold and silver;
Moreover, this week's CPI/PPI far exceeding expectations has thoroughly put Trump on the hot seat, with less than half a month left in the window. Although the new leadership has stated they do not intend to eliminate the Persian cat, it is far from enough. Lies can be told, but the market is very honest. This time, the Trump Republicans' refusal to compromise costs not only the midterm elections but also the trust of voters, basically ruining the 2028 presidential election prospects;
What the public wants is very simple: a real reduction in living costs; after controlling inflation for several years, Trump's administration's conflicts have directly undone years of effort. CPI/PPI is the second highest this year and the second highest in nearly four years;
This conflict is far more than just a few billion in military spending. Long-term debt interest keeps climbing, with annual new interest exceeding that amount; rising living costs increase social costs annually, suppressing consumption and significantly impacting GDP;
Without action, do not expect any achievements in the second half of the term, as it will be restricted by both houses; taking action is the most pragmatic move at this moment. The arrow is already on the string and must be released; it cannot be solved by mere talk because there is no longer a window of opportunity;

In the same exchange business, $BNB's market cap is nearly forty times that of OKB, while the business scale of the two companies differs by just over two times.
To put the numbers straight: OKX's latest funding round values it at $25 billion, with Standard Chartered, Circle, and Ripple all listed as shareholders; the total 21 million OKB tokens at current price amount to a market cap of $2.6 billion, which is 10.8% of the parent company's valuation. On the other hand, Binance's derivatives market share is 35%, OKX's is 16%, a 2.2 times difference; yet BNB's market cap is $103 billion, forty times that of OKB.
The business difference is twofold, the token difference is fortyfold, and the gap of over ten times lies not in the business but in how value flows back to the token.
BNB has two channels: quarterly profits are used to buy back and burn tokens, and every on-chain Gas fee is burned in real time—the better the business, the fewer the tokens. Conversely, OKB permanently locked its total supply at 21 million after a one-time burn last year, removing the authority for minting and burning—scarcity is achieved, but the cost is that no matter how much the exchange earns, the token quantity won't decrease, relying only on fee discounts and Jumpstart quotas as soft bindings.
So the current price of OKB is not set by OKX's business but by whether the X Layer can take off. If the chain takes off, the $2.6 billion market cap has enough elasticity; if not, it's just a membership card without dividends.
115 is the current support level in this pullback, with resistance at 124 above. The rebound is fake; the money simply hasn't arrived.
$BTC just broke below 81,000, down 1.77% in 24 hours, with nearly 80,000 liquidations across the market. The chart looks like it's recovering, but if you separate the capital flows of $BTC, $ETH, and $SOL, heat and money are two different things.
$BTC — The support strength is weakening. Spot net outflow of 13.7 million in 1 hour, 133 million net outflow in 24 hours; contracts are also withdrawing. The brief 24-hour net inflow is an illusion—over a longer period, contracts have a cumulative net outflow of 3.3 billion over a week. This rebound looks more like passive repair, not new money actively buying in. The ETF side confirms the same: institutional buying has clearly hit the brakes, with frantic buying last week but a sharp drop in inflows this week.
$ETH — The most deceptive one. 24-hour contract net inflow of 375 million looks strong at first glance. But in the last 1 and 4 hours, it has turned to net outflow; spot also saw a 57.05 million outflow in 24 hours. Spot ETFs are more honest—11 consecutive trading days of net outflow totaling 780 million USD, with a brief inflow followed by another 129 million net outflow. The impressive data is on display, but the buying is slipping beneath.
$SOL — The best among the short ones, but don’t rush to be moved. Spot 1h/4h/24h are indeed all net inflows, with capital supporting on the spot side; this is the only structure worth watching among the three. But contract funds continue to exit, and the spot ETF side isn’t solid either—on October 15, $SOL spot ETF had a single-day net outflow of nearly 9.82 million USD, and BSOL itself recorded outflows. Whether spot support can hold is the only lifeline for $SOL’s current strength. Once spot funds weaken, the previous strength was just a flash in the pan.
The news side is also pressuring sentiment. Although the Fed has a 71.8% probability of holding rates steady in October, the shadow of another rate hike this year hasn’t lifted. The CLARITY Act failed a procedural vote in the Senate; the regulatory framework boot is still pending. Brent crude is approaching 110 USD, and the macro backdrop for risk assets is unfriendly. In this environment, a rebound propped up by sentiment can be knocked down by any random news.
So my attitude is straightforward: before the signals arrive, chasing longs is all illusion.
Wait for two things: $BTC and $ETH spot funds turning positive, and $SOL spot support holding steady without being eaten up. Without these two, no matter how lively the market looks, it’s irrelevant to you.
Right now it’s consolidation, not a trend. Contract funds are withdrawing, spot support is weak, and the market is hanging by sentiment. Once sudden news hits, the pullback will be much faster than the rebound.
Don’t fear missing out; fear chasing in only to find you’re the only one holding the baton.

Saudi Arabia intercepted missiles and oil tankers were attacked, causing oil prices to surge directly during the US trading session, while long-term US Treasury yields rose. Oil prices are not just a simple commodity; they will hold back inflation and delay interest rate cuts.
With high interest rates, high-valuation assets are under pressure. The logic for $BTC is very contradictory now, as risk assets and inflation-hedging properties pull against each other, causing the market to fluctuate repeatedly.
Sentiment shocks are short-term; a true supply cut in the channel is the major fundamental. Keep an eye on it, I will continue to monitor oil prices and long-term bond yields.

Judging the linkage between the crypto market and US stocks doesn't have to be complicated. Here's a simple method for market observation.
First, look at the time period. Around the US stock market opening, if $BTC moves in sync with the Nasdaq, that's strong linkage; if the Nasdaq moves but Bitcoin remains still, the linkage is weak, and the crypto market is driven by its own capital.
Second, consider the market level. During major negative news or macro data releases, both move synchronously, showing full linkage; during regular volatile markets, the linkage weakens, and the crypto market behaves independently.
Third, distinguish by coin type. (BTC,) ETH shows the clearest linkage with the Nasdaq. Small altcoins basically do not follow US stocks and only respond to internal capital rotation within crypto.
A small tip: if the Nasdaq and Bitcoin move in opposite directions for several consecutive days, it means short-term linkage has failed, so prioritize analyzing the crypto market itself.
But remember, linkage is only a reference signal and should not be used alone as a basis for trading decisions.
#特斯拉发布新一代Roadster,行情走高 #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #SpaceX上市后首份完整季度财报将揭晓 Let's discuss a point that almost no one thinks deeply about: In September, the US CPI showed that prices for computers and peripherals rose 9.7% year-over-year, the largest increase since 2006; software accessories were even more extreme, rising 28.4%.
What does this mean? The AI infrastructure boom is no longer just a story in financial reports; it is concretely pushing up tech product prices through the frenzy for computing power and hardware, which in turn seeps into inflation data.
This creates a very ironic loop: the hotter AI gets → the more expensive hardware becomes → the stickier inflation gets → the more the Federal Reserve needs to raise interest rates → the harder it is for tech stocks that rely on future profits to sustain their valuations. The AI boom is literally creating an environment of rising interest rates for itself.
Those still shouting "this AI rally will never end" are missing the most critical layer: it’s burning not just money, but the very floor beneath its feet. Short BTC?
Current price is around 82,200, with short-term moving average resistance between 82,600–83,000. The 20-month moving average at 87,165 and the year's opening price at 87,490 coincide, forming a strong major resistance. The fundamentals are also bearish: October ETF outflows have exceeded 1 billion, Hut 8 related wallets dumped 1,589 BTC to exchanges in two days, worth $130 million, showing real on-chain selling pressure.
But I have to say something I probably shouldn't: the whales are on the other side. The number of wallets holding 10–10,000 BTC has hit a record high of 20,338, and they have been buying steadily over the past three months. This means shorting is a tactical trade, not a trend conviction. My plan: lightly short on a rebound to 82,800–83,000, with a stop loss above 83,600. The first target is 81,200; if it breaks below, add positions targeting 80,400. If it breaks 81,200 with volume, chase shorts targeting 78,000–79,800. Never hold through losses; when shorts are crowded, a stampede hurts more than a short squeeze.$BTC
Shorting is fine, but only short the rebound, do not short the breakdown chasing the bottom. Are you siding with the whales or the shorts? Report your positions in the comments. I'll be watching ETF net outflow data tomorrow morning; if it exceeds 200 million, I'll add shorts; if it turns inflow, I'll immediately reduce. #特斯拉发布新一代Roadster,行情走高 #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #ETF与巨鲸资金分化,BTC能否守住8万美元? This morning I focused on a signal many people overlook: overnight silver once dropped over 6%, and gold was also pushed down. According to the old script, with the Middle East in conflict, oil prices surging, and risk aversion sentiment, gold and silver should have been lifted, so why did they both get sold off?
The answer is two words: interest rates. September inflation exceeded expectations across the board, and the market pushed up the probability of rate hikes. Even gold, a traditional safe haven, couldn't withstand the pressure from real yields, let alone $BTC, a pure risk asset.
The biggest mistake in this market is treating war and geopolitics as bullish signals to buy the dip. But the current pricing logic is not "risk aversion," but rather "war → oil price rise → sticky inflation → rate hikes." Understanding this chain explains why I'd rather hold short positions than catch that seemingly cheap falling knife. This morning at the IMF annual meeting, Walsh spoke with absolute precision: no predictions, no hints on whether there will be a rate hike in October. Yet a bunch of people immediately interpreted this as "dovish, a pause is coming," causing the dollar to weaken and risk assets to start fantasizing about a rebound.
My only reminder: pausing rate hikes does not equal shifting to easing. Barclays, Citi, and BofA have all been raising their expectations these past two days—not that hikes are off, but that they will continue in December and January next year. September CPI rebounded to 3.7%, core inflation is still rising, and oil prices are seeping inflation into every corner. Under these fundamentals, those going all-in on the long side are no different from fish at the poker table who think they've won just because their opponent folded once.
Why can I hold onto my short positions? Because the logic hasn't changed: without rate cuts, risk assets have no real floor. $BTCEvery earnings season, the market feels like a pre-scripted exam.
Before the earnings are even released, capital has already started to place bets. Will revenue exceed expectations? Can profit margins continue to improve? Is management optimistic about guidance for the next quarter? Even a single phrase in the earnings call can become a reason for stock price fluctuations.
But interestingly, a company that clearly made more money might see its stock price fall; another company with seemingly mediocre results might instead experience a strong rally.
Because what the market trades on is never just what happened in the past, but what will happen in the future.
When everyone believes a company's performance will be strong, good earnings may already be priced into the stock. What truly determines the stock price is whether it is good enough to exceed market expectations.
So, rather than simply focusing on revenue and net profit, I prefer to look at a few things: whether growth is sustainable, if profit margins have improved, whether capital expenditures are converting into real revenue, and if management’s outlook for the future has changed.
Especially in sectors like AI, semiconductors, and storage, market valuations are often based on growth expectations for the coming years. The key question worth spending time on is whether today's high growth marks the peak of the industry cycle or the start of a new wave of demand expansion.
Of course, earnings reports are not a cure-all. Even the best companies can be overpriced; even poor results can lead to price increases if the bad news has already been fully absorbed.
#财报季专属话题 #财报观察员:财报季回顾与展望 Altcoins dropping 90% from their peak doesn't mean their valuation is cheap. The price is just the quote per token and cannot alone explain supply, demand, or valuation.
If a large amount of tokens are still unlocked and enter circulation later, without a corresponding increase in demand, the additional supply will continue to suppress the price. What needs to be checked is not the extent of the drop, but the current circulating supply, the future unlocking schedule, and the real demand.
Only looking at historical highs to buy the dip can easily mistake "big drop" for "low risk." When supply keeps expanding and usage and demand are insufficient, a low price can still be relatively expensive.ETF withdrew 1 billion in two days, but whales are quietly accumulating
Short-term looks scary: The US spot Bitcoin ETF had a net outflow of about $261 million on 10/14 and another outflow of about $262 million on 10/15, indicating institutional funds are indeed retreating in the short term.
But the other side on-chain is more worth watching: whale holdings rose from 2.94 million to 3.03 million BTC, the fastest 30-day accumulation rate since February 2026; new whale cost is about $77,000, with realized market value share rising from 18% to 33%, and miner sell pressure has also clearly decreased.
Key levels
Resistance at the top is at $88,000 and $100,000 cost levels; support at the bottom is the real market average price of $78,000, and $81,500 is the ETF average cost line.
On 10/15, BTC dipped to 79,950 then pulled back to 82,500, currently at 82,331. Options IV is only 35%, with the maximum pain point at 83,000; low volatility often signals an impending breakout.

Coinbase released a post-quantum roadmap, BIP-360/P2MR entered draft stage, ML-DSA and other post-quantum signature candidates, and custodians have begun engineering preparations.
Mixed news
The US Treasury withdrew the draft on mixing/self-custody restrictions, CFTC is advancing regulatory framework; but 10-year US Treasury yield at 5.20%, AI stocks have evaporated over $1 trillion, macro still weighs on valuations. BTC and USD 90-day correlation is -0.40, indicating it has not fully moved in sync with risk assets.
$BTC $ETH $ZEC Mid-October 2026, BTC at $81,000, still down 5% for the year.
But don’t rush to call a bear market. Q3 just rose 42.7%, the strongest quarter in over two years. Fast rises, fast falls — only the volatility logic has changed:
Previously, pricing was set by retail investors, on a four-year halving cycle;
Now pricing is set by ETF funds, a $320 billion stablecoin pool, and institutional treasuries.
Institutional money is slow, so surges are no longer sharp; institutional money is resilient, so crashes no longer plummet all the way down.
The cycle isn’t dead, it’s been smoothed and extended.
How to view Q4? Don’t bet on direction, watch three things:
① US Dollar Index strength → defense, pullback → add positions
② ETF fund flows
③ Regulatory implementation progress

Tesla's Q3 earnings report is scheduled for after market close on October 21. Delivery numbers were released early: 486,532 vehicles delivered, 464,391 produced. Delivery is just one of two financial performance indicators, don't use it alone to predict earnings.
The first is automotive gross margin, based on scoring criteria. GAAP includes regulatory credits; Q2 was 16.9%; non-GAAP excluding credits was 16.3%, Q1 was 19.2%. To see if profitability has recovered, only the latter should be used.
The second figure: regulatory credit revenue. Zero-cost emission credits, Q2 was $146 million, Q1 was $380 million, a 60% drop in one quarter. If it drops further, gross margin will have to bear the burden itself.
The third is operating margin. Q2 operating profit was $398 million, margin 1.4%, Q1 was 4.2%—even if gross margin recovers, expenses might still be a bottleneck. The fourth is free cash flow: operating cash flow of $4.697 billion minus capital expenditures of $5.789 billion, Q2 was -$1.092 billion. Negative does not equal loss; first look at how large the capital expenditures are.
The fifth is energy storage gross margin, calculated from the income statement: (31.39 − 24.99) ÷ 31.39 is about 20.4%, Q1 was about 39.5%. The company said on the call that about $240 million of warranty adjustments are included in this drop. One-time items are all hidden in the call; after reading the numbers, you still have to listen. WTI crude oil has once again risen above $100, primarily driven by geopolitical tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, with multiple oil tankers recently attacked. According to India's Shipping Minister: on October 16, the MT ST 3 was hit by projectiles in the strait, but all 15 Indian crew members on board are safe and unharmed.
Positive factors: VLCC freight rates from the Gulf of Oman to China have fallen 7.7% from their highs; about 400 commercial vessels have passed through the strait in the past 7 days, and the US military has assisted Gulf allies in transporting over 100 million barrels of crude oil.
Under multiple balancing factors, crude oil is unlikely to rise unilaterally, favoring a steady upward trend. With oil prices remaining high, inflation is unlikely to ease, and a major bull market in US stocks is out of reach. Negative factors no longer suppress the stabilization signals of risk assets. If negative factors do not cause a decline, even slight positive news can easily trigger a rebound. Currently, lifting sanctions on Russia has not yet produced significant effects.
4-hour chart: overall trend is upward, with lows continuously rising, MACD remains positive, and the bullish major structure is intact.
Crude oil trading advice:
Buy on dips around 97.8-98.3 with support at 97, target 100.5-101.6 U.S. stock market opened just an hour ago, and $BTC, $ETH, $SOL all turned green collectively. But the real eye-catching factor isn't the price, it's another data point most people overlook: open interest is retreating. $BTC is currently at 82358, up 1.47%; $ETH at 2475, up 4.34%; $SOL at 106.3, up 3.12%. On the surface, it looks lively, but underneath it's shrinking. BTC open interest dropped from 2.58 billion to 2.45 billion, the long-short ratio slid from 1.88 to 1.76; $ETH long-short ratio plunged from 2.73 to 1.85; $SOL dropped from 2.72 to 2.31. These three data sets together send a very clear signal: leverage is exiting, not new money entering. Prices are pushed up by short covering, not active buying. After the U.S. market opened, tech stocks did not crash, giving crypto a breather. But this is a correction, not a reversal. $BTC faces heavy resistance in the 83000–84000 range, $ETH has dense trapped positions around 2500, and $SOL's key threshold is 110. Unless these levels are broken, this rebound is merely a reduction of positions, not an accumulation. Notably, $ETH's long-short ratio dropped the most, from 2.73 to 1.85, indicating the most intense clearing of long leverage. If subsequent ETF funds turn into net inflows, $ETH's rebound potential might even surpass $BTC—provided 2500 is effectively reclaimed. $BTC then#ETF and Whale Capital Divergence, Can BTC Hold $80,000?
The anticipated bull market hasn't arrived; BTC is currently around $81,300–$81,600. Recently, it has repeatedly tested the $80,000–$81,500 range and rebounded. So far this month, it has declined about 2%, clearly lagging behind the historical "Uptober" trend.
October has seen significant net outflows overall. Net outflows this month are approximately $500–540 million, with large withdrawals concentrated on October 7 (about $485–487 million), October 8, and October 14 trading days; occasional small inflows occurred in between. This sharply contrasts with the strong inflows in September. The comprehensive cost basis of the US spot Bitcoin ETF is around $81,500. After multiple price dips, it has reclaimed this level, making it an important "magnet" zone.
Analysts from CryptoQuant and other institutions also point out that whales shifting from selling to buying is a common early bull market characteristic. There is also pressure from net inflows to exchanges, but the overall narrative leans toward large holders accumulating at low levels.
The ETF cost basis and whale accumulation provide clear support logic, with prices repeatedly validating the effectiveness of this area; however, ongoing ETF net outflows plus macro pressure from hot CPI are the main risks. If outflows slow or turn positive, combined with continued on-chain accumulation, it will be easier to test $84k upwards; conversely, a decisive break below $80k could open the way down to $78k or even lower.
Hang in there, brothers, the crypto winter hasn't truly arrived yet.🐻
$BTC Since last night until now, the crypto market has been declining on low volume, with bulls' several counterattacks all suppressed.
$BTC slid from 82,816 to 81,736, holding above 80,000;
$ETH retreated from 2,488 to 2,424, losing 2,500 again;
$HYPE is the weakest, dropping from 82.42 to 80.20, down 1.82% in 24h and over 4% in 7 days.
The pullback can't avoid the Federal Reserve. Warsh gave no hint on rate hikes, the market lowered its bets, Korean stocks' selling pressure paused, sentiment slightly eased, enough for BTC to hold above 80,000, but still far from the previous high.
On the other hand, Musk showcased the flying Roadster, Hyperliquid Tesla contract volume surged from 2.8 million to 47 million in one hour, the platform is lively, yet HYPE continues to decline. No matter how high the turnover, it hasn't entered holders' wallets, the heat hasn't turned into buying power.
Now, don't rush to bottom-fish or short: wait for rate hike expectations to settle, BTC to expand volume and reclaim the pressure zone before attacking again; HYPE's rebound must first prove it can keep up with Hyperliquid's trading volume. If support holds, it will consolidate; if lost, it's uncertain.#特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点
The recent market has been volatile, with bulls and bears pulling in different directions, leaving many confused. But it's precisely at times like these that a calm mind and iron discipline are needed.📈
Let's focus on my forecast for Tesla (TSLA) Q3 earnings.📈
First, the logic. Tesla delivered about 486,000 vehicles in Q3, a slight increase quarter-over-quarter but a year-over-year decline. This can't be entirely blamed on weak demand—last year, the US had tax credit policies, and many bought cars early, inflating the base too high. Wall Street currently generally expects earnings per share around 44 cents and revenue about $27.8 billion. Personally, I feel the energy storage business has been strong recently and can provide some support, but the automotive main business's profit margin is still under pressure. So I tend to think: revenue might be about the same, but EPS will most likely miss expectations, and the after-hours stock price will probably be volatile. The specifics will depend on management's comments on FSD and new vehicles. $BTC $ZEC $xTSLA The market's game on SK Hynix essentially boils down to judging between the "profit peak of cyclical stocks" and the "revaluation of growth stocks." Looking at it separately, the evidence directions of the two main lines are inconsistent.
Can the strong demand for HBM offset the cyclical downturn in traditional storage?
From the perspectives of "volume" and "price," the support for HBM is real, but not without cracks.
The demand certainty for HBM4 is very high. SK Hynix has secured about 70% of the HBM4 orders for Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform, far exceeding the previous market expectation of slightly above 50%; HBM4 has been mass-produced and shipped since Q2 2026, and the company plans a significant capacity expansion in the second half of the year. The price of the 12-layer HBM4 product is expected to exceed $600, and the company has signed long-term supply agreements (LTA) with about 10 customers, setting differentiated pricing mechanisms to smooth out cyclical fluctuations.
However, on the traditional storage side, the "cyclical downturn" is not a complete collapse but a severe structural divergence. In Q1 2026, traditional DRAM contract prices surged 90%–95% quarter-on-quarter, NAND rose 55%–60%; by Q3, the quarter-on-quarter increase in DRAM contract prices had narrowed to 13%–18%, NAND to 10%–15%. More critically, some consumer-grade storage spot prices have slightly declined due to inventory buildup, with 64GB eMMC even showing an inverted situation where spot prices are lower than contract prices. The trends of high-end AI storage and consumer-grade storage are diverging #HBM4量产能否推动SK海力士盈利再创新高? Deutsche Bank pushed that stainless steel refrigerated cabinet right next to my stove.
Reuters reported on October 16 that within weeks, it plans to launch custody stoves for Bitcoin and Ethereum for institutional and corporate clients in Germany, with USDC, EURC, and EURAU also listed. This isn’t just adding a side dish; it’s turning the entire restaurant’s storage room into a temperature-controlled wine cellar—main courses, broths, and sauces all packed inside, with the keys firmly in your own hands.
Custody is essentially about temperature control. A two-degree difference overcooks the steak a bit; a layer off on the private key ruins the whole banquet. Institutional clients are the most demanding; they don’t ask how well-done your steak is, they first open the fridge to check temperature logs, kitchen workflows, and who can reach in. Deutsche Bank says it wants to make this a standard product and plans to open branches in Asia by 2027, also aiming to develop molecular dishes like stablecoin broth swaps, deposit tokenization, and digital bonds. The menu looks great, but molecular cuisine is most vulnerable to shaky hands in the kitchen—once the broth swap goes wrong, the whole pot must be discarded.
The neighboring stove isn’t idle either. Standard Chartered is offering Bitcoin and Ethereum trading to professional diners in the UAE and managing RLUSD storage; BNY Mellon has expanded a row of refrigerated warehouses in Europe. Three old-school Western restaurants crowding this street means the diners have truly arrived. But whether they are just curious tasters or regular daily patrons will only be clear after the first wave of payments.
Turning demand into custody assets involves a whole serving window in between: compliance approval is the health inspection, internal risk control is the food delivery process, and if any link is stuck, the dish cools at the window. The promise of "a few weeks" in the kitchen is like "15-minute meals"—easy to say, but whether it can withstand the lunch rush is another matter. More importantly, having only a fridge without a stove means only accepting stored grain, not hosting a banquet; stock comes in, but flow may not keep up.
Looking at pre-made dishes like $xNVDA tagged as stocks, the logic is simple: institutions put money into the cold storage but may not want to share it with the hot stir-fry stalls. The bigger the cold storage, the more it shows some just want to store, not cook. The main course must be stable first before seasoning can be sprinkled; the fridge must be powered before the stove dares to light the fire.
What I’ve always focused on isn’t the menu’s thickness but the serving speed. Whether the fridge can be powered on within three weeks, the temperature can be maintained, and the first batch of custody assets can safely lie there for a full quarter—that’s where the judges really decide. Installing three fridges but only using them to chill beer means the restaurant won’t survive the first off-season.
My only comment on the ratio: the main course can be slow, but the cold storage can’t be empty. Whoever wants to add that spoonful of extra spicy chili, go ahead; I’m just here to watch who gets burned inside but still insists they’re savoring the flavor. #deutschebankcustodyBrent crude oil hits the second highest level of the year, Federal Reserve rate hike coming at the end of the month, midterm elections approaching! Where is the market headed? Waking up to Brent crude hitting $110, New York crude hitting the $100 mark; this has suppressed the oversold rebound momentum of risk assets as well as the short-to-medium term rebound demand for gold and silver; coupled with this week's CPI/PPI far exceeding expectations, which has completely put Trump on the hot seat, with less than half a month left in the window. I believe investors need to break SpaceX into two parts: the rocket launch business provides technological barriers and strategic value, while Starlink determines whether it can generate scalable, sustainable cash flow.
The focus is not just on revenue growth, but on whether Starlink's user expansion can translate into profits, how much capital expenditure satellite deployment and rocket development require, and whether free cash flow can improve.
The biggest risk for high-valuation companies is that the market has already priced in growth expectations for several years ahead. Once actual profitability falls short, even excellent companies may face valuation adjustments.
What SpaceX truly needs to prove is not whether it can continue to change the aerospace industry, but whether these technological advantages can continuously translate into shareholder returns.
Do you think the core of SpaceX's future valuation should be Starlink's profitability or the long-term monopoly advantage of aerospace infrastructure?
