I am a trader, not a prophet.
So when $SOL, $HYPE, $BNB and 6 other positions all turn green together, I don't delete the app, nor do I shout "bull comeback."
I open the trading log and check each entry: Is the entry logic still valid? Has the stop-loss line been broken? Has the add-position range been reached? If not, then let the bullets fly.
Gamblers focus on profit and loss, traders focus on odds. Floating losses are not failures; the market is collecting an "emotion tax." I paid a big one in 2025, and only understood on the night of liquidation: what keeps you alive is never faith, but rules.
Now I treat each position as an independent project: SOL looks at ecosystem activity, HYPE looks at narrative heat, BNB looks at burn rhythm. If the logic holds, the position stays; if the logic breaks, action is immediate. No predictions, no prayers, no averaging down to loss of control.
Nine red lights, to me, are nine stress tests. The market falls as it will; I execute my plan. A true expert is not someone who never loses, but one who loses clearly and waits soberly.
If you also can't sleep because of floating losses, first ask yourself: did you write down your "error recognition conditions" before opening the position?
