$TSLA vehicle deliveries reached 486,500 units, exceeding market expectations by about 5%,
but this was mainly driven by contributions from Model 3/Y, and year-on-year still declined by 2.1%,
under the shadow of a high base in the same period of 2025 (rush purchases before the US tax credit expiration).
The positive impact on deliveries is unlikely to fully offset the drag from weak gross margins,
energy storage falling short of expectations, and a surge in operating expenses,
