Yrityksen voitto on ennätyksellisen korkea, tarkoittaako se, että tilillä on varmasti enemmän käteistä? Ei välttämättä.
👉🏻 Rahavirtalaskelma (Cash Flow Statement) kirjaa, mistä yrityksen rahat tietyn ajanjakson aikana tulevat ja minne ne menevät, sitä voi pitää yrityksen "käteiskirjanpidon".
📊 Keskittyy kolmeen osaan:
❶ Liiketoiminnan rahavirta: päivittäisestä liiketoiminnasta tulevat rahamuutokset, kuten myyntitulot, palkkojen maksut jne.
❷ Investointien rahavirta: laitteiden, tehtaiden, sijoitusten ostot tai myynnit aiheuttamat rahamuutokset
❸ Rahoituksen rahavirta: lainat, joukkovelkakirjat, osakkeiden liikkeeseenlasku tai takaisinosto, osingot ja muut rahamuutokset
Yksinkertaisesti:
Liiketoiminta → kuinka paljon rahaa liiketoiminta tuo
Investoinnit → mihin rahaa on sijoitettu
Rahoitus → miten rahaa on kerätty ja maksettu takaisin
📌 Miksi katsoa rahavirtaa, vaikka on voittoa?
Koska "kirjanpidollinen voitto" ≠ "raha on jo tilillä", esimerkiksi yritys myy tuotteen ja kirjaa tulon, mutta asiakas ei ole vielä maksanut, voitto on kirjattu, mutta käteistä ei ole vielä saatu.
💡 Jos yritys pystyy jatkuvasti tuottamaan rahaa liiketoiminnallaan, sillä on yleensä paremmat mahdollisuudet investoida, maksaa velkoja ja selviytyä liiketoiminnan vaihteluista; jos rahavirta on pitkään tiukka, vaikka kirjanpidossa on voittoa, se vaatii lisähuomiota.

📊 Keskeiset kolme osaa: Omaisuus = Velat + Oma pääoma
❶ Omaisuus (Assets): Yrityksen omistamat tai hallinnoimat resurssit, kuten käteinen, varastot, tehtaat ja laitteet, sijoitukset jne.
❷ Velat (Liabilities): Yrityksen vastuut tai maksusitoumukset, kuten lainat, ostovelat jne.
