Dogecoin (DOGE) Whale (Mega Whale) Classification Standards (Market Common Criteria) - 🐬 Dolphin: 1 million to 10 million DOGE - 🦈 Shark: 10 million to 100 million DOGE - 🐳 Whale: ≥100 million DOGE (can significantly influence the market) - 🦑 Super Mega Whale: ≥1 billion DOGE (institutional/exchange level) Quantity and Chip Situation According to Santiment statistics: there are about 140 wallets holding ≥100 million DOGE, these addresses collectively hold over 108 billion DOGE, with chip concentration far higher than BTC and ETH. Key Big Pitfall: The top on-chain rich list is not a single whale, but Robinhood's custody cold wallet (about 27.2 billion DOGE, nearly 17.5% of circulating supply), which contains coins from hundreds of thousands of retail investors, not one person; second is Upbit, third is Binance, both are exchange custody wallets, representing user asset custody, not private mega whales. The legendary super address that once held nearly 30% of DOGE was split by the end of 2021 and is no longer a single large holder. Characteristics (Compared to BTC/ETH Whales) 1. DOGE is a meme coin with thinner liquidity; a large private whale's big transfer or dump causes much more violent market fluctuations than BTC or ETH, easily triggering panic and chain liquidations. 2. High chip concentration: the top 10 addresses together account for the circulating supplyWhen that ETH line crashed down, 2400 didn't hold at all. Within an hour, Binance, Bybit, and OKX combined saw $27.02 million worth of long positions wiped out, while shorts only cleared a few hundred thousand. The price slid from 2424 straight down to 2355, without even a decent rebound. BTC wasn't doing any better, dropping to 81000, with over $115 million in long positions liquidated within sixty minutes. Weekend liquidity is thin to begin with, and when leverage kicks in, it's as fragile as paper.
What's even worse is the ETF side. ETH spot ETFs saw a net outflow exceeding $1.4 billion in a single week, breaking both the 7-day and 30-day moving averages, signaling a bearish technical pattern. On-chain, a batch of old addresses holding for 3 to 10 years are selling at the fastest pace since 2021. On the macro front, CPI at 3.7% exceeded expectations, and the 10-year Treasury yield surged to 5.26%. With money this expensive, assets that don't generate cash flow naturally get hit first.
But interestingly, during these days of decline, large addresses have been accumulating in the opposite direction, with several giant whales buying over a billion dollars worth of ETH cumulatively.
The liquidation chart structure is also very fragmented now: if ETH breaks below 2392, there's another $475 million in long liquidations waiting. On the upside, short liquidations at 2618 have a strength of $466 million, but that's a story for later.
At this point, those cutting losses are handing chips over to the ones catching falling knives. I'm not advising to bottom-fish, but weekend leverage sweeps never play by the rules.
Are the long positions in your hands still holding up? Mainstream on-chain analysis (Santiment) defines addresses with ≥1000 BTC as BTC whales (whales) - Latest statistics: 2044 addresses with ≥1000 BTC, holding about 7.17 million BTC in total, accounting for nearly 36% of the circulating supply But! Address ≠ real independent person/institution, this is the easiest pitfall: It includes: exchange cold wallets, ETF custody addresses, platform reserve wallets, not all individual large holders. For example, an exchange may have several such whale addresses, but they actually belong to the same institution. More detailed stratification (another classification standard) - Sharks: 1000–5000 BTC - Whales: 5000–10000 BTC (narrow sense of whale) ≈100 addresses - Humpback whales (super whales): >10000 BTC, fewer than 100 addresses, including MicroStrategy, the US government, early tycoons, large custodians in this category Two key misconceptions 1. It is impossible to accurately know the real "number of whales": one person can control dozens of wallets; one wallet may also hold funds from many users (exchanges), on-chain can only count addresses, cannot distinguish the underlying entities. 2. Different platforms have different thresholds: some media are more lenient and call ≥100 BTC large holders, which increases the number to nearly 20,000 addresses, these should not be confused. Simple one-sentence summary According to the most commonly used standard in the circle 1 U.S. stocks fell on Friday, mainly due to two events hitting at the same time. One was the repricing of debt for AI infrastructure, and the other was the rise in oil prices driven by the Middle East. The market is not trading on "how much longer tech can rise," but rather on whether borrowing money to build data centers can hold up under higher interest rates and increased energy costs. The Dow closed at 52,002 points, down 0.34%; the S&P dropped 1.09% to 7,659 points; the Nasdaq fell 2.15% to 26,140 points. The Nasdaq declined about 4.5% this week, marking its worst week in several months. The VIX jumped close to 20. The most direct news was about CoreWeave. This computing power company endorsed by Nvidia fell about 12% again on Friday, down more than 20% for the week. Its bond yields surged to around 15%, and the cost of credit default swap protection once exceeded 1,100 basis points, with the market starting to view it as a "default risk." The company itself has about $50 billion in debt, borrowing money to buy chips and build data centers. Nvidia expressed optimism on Thursday, causing a rebound in its stock price that day, but it couldn't hold on Friday. This news brought the financing issues of the entire AI infrastructure sector back to the forefront. Meanwhile, oil prices are rising. WTI crude oil rose to around $99, and Brent touched $109.86 intraday, the highest since May. Iran's activities in the Strait of Hormuz continue, and the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia also did not stop this week. The energy sector rose accordingly, but higher oil prices also leave inflationary pressure. Earlier this week, the CPI annual rate was 3.7%, with the core also running hot. On Friday, Wash in ManThe sell orders are only slightly more, yet the bulls bear nearly 90% of the liquidations. Which is suffering more, BTC or ETH?
After reviewing this data this morning, I think what deserves more attention now is how fragile the long positions are.
① Buy and sell volumes are close, but bulls are hit harder
In the past 4 hours, active buying was $2.467 billion, active selling was $2.585 billion, with sell orders accounting for 51.17%, a slight advantage.
But during the same period, liquidations were about $225 million, with long positions around $200 million, nearly 89%.
The transaction volume difference is small, but liquidations clearly skew toward the bulls. This decline has hit the endurance limit of many long positions.
② BTC: First see if the support can hold
In the past 4 hours, BTC liquidations were about $15.86 million, with longs accounting for 91.1%.
Liquidations happening doesn’t mean selling pressure is over. I will watch if the subsequent pullback continues to make new lows and whether the rebound can hold. For now, I’m not rushing to treat liquidations as a bottom signal.
③ ETH: Liquidation pressure is more pronounced
In the same period, ETH liquidations were about $61.1 million, roughly 3.9 times that of BTC, with longs accounting for 95.3%.
In this round of liquidations, ETH bulls suffered noticeably more concentrated losses. Going forward, besides watching if ETH can stop falling on its own, we also need to see if ETH can follow when BTC stabilizes, rather than falling deeper at every dip.
For now, I’m leaning cautious. Longs being liquidated is one thing; whether there is sustained buying support is another.#Meta巨额AI投入进入回报检验期
Meta's AI big bet enters the payoff period: The more revenue from ads, can it fill the computing power black hole?
After the U.S. market closed on October 21, Meta is about to release its Q3 earnings report. Q2 revenue grew 28% year-over-year to $60.8 billion, but free cash flow plummeted 91% to $784 million, with full-year capital expenditure guidance as high as $130 billion to $145 billion. Revenue is racing ahead, but cash is being devoured by investments—this is the real market anxiety.
📈 Advertising engine: Can AI-optimized recommendations and ad placements continue to boost revenue and ad pricing?
🧠 AI big bet: New products like Muse bring imagination space, but when will the huge computing power investment turn into sustainable profits?
⚠️ Double test: The market is not only watching whether revenue can exceed expectations, but also whether capital expenditures will continue to rise, free cash flow can recover, and the impact of legal costs on profits.
The harshest reality of the AI era: technological leadership does not equal investment return leadership.
Do you think Meta is buying the future in advance, or paying too high a price for the AI boom? See you in the comments!
#Meta #ArtificialIntelligence #USStocks #EarningsSeason #AIInvestment$SNDK is currently stuck at the 1286 line, and the market's pricing logic for it might be reversed. As long as the weekly line does not fall below 1286 this week, the price will enter a 1286~1500 oscillation range — this is not a reversal, but a temporary pause in the bears' momentum. The real watershed is at 1500: if it can't break above, the 1450~1500 range becomes a resistance zone, and any rebound is easily pushed back down, just a corrective move within a downtrend. I lean more towards another scenario: a valid break below 1286 and closing underneath, with the next target pointing directly to the previous low near 972, which currently has a higher probability. The reason is structural, not emotional — the rebound can't even reach the resistance zone, indicating buyers lack the willingness to continue; in this pattern, support is often "tested" rather than "held." In other words, 1286 is not the bottom, but the starting line for the bears to regroup. There is an easily overlooked secondary effect here: the oscillation range itself creates an illusion. The sideways movement between 1286~1500 causes many to misread it as "forming a bottom," but every surge within the range consumes bullish ammunition, and the trapped positions above 1500 have never loosened. The longer the range lasts, the greater the damage when it breaks down — because stop losses will cluster below 1286, triggering a chain reaction once hit. The confirmation signals are very clear: whether the weekly closing price can stably hold above 1286, and whether the rebound can break through 1500 with volume. The former determines if it will oscillate or break down, the latter decides if it is a correction or a reversal. Until both conditions are met simultaneously, any rebound is just feeding chips to the bears A slow decline doesn't mean no one is buying; it means no one is in a hurry to buy.
$BTC slid from 82,816 to 81,602 in one day, hitting a low of 80,761.
The 80,000 mark, a round number, was tested again.
What does this price level indicate: the three major mainstream coins all closed down over 7 days, but daily declines were small.
In other words, sellers aren't rushing, and buyers aren't rushing either.
Who's placing orders here: $BTC has a 24-hour trading volume of $24.3 billion, $ETH less than $10 billion.
If it pushes down further, there will be sellers when it spikes because there are fewer takers.
$SOL dropped 4.62% over 7 days, with the thinnest order book around the hundred-dollar mark.
Before volume returns, rebounds are likely to spike and then fall back.
Where order books are thin, prices can move a notch with little cost.

#$BTC $ETH The Hormuz Strait reignites conflict, but don't rush to bottom-fish: this wave is "war priced as rate hikes"
The Strait of Hormuz is in trouble again. A second supertanker hit a mine, Iran directly announced the closure of the strait, and the armed forces even fired on vessels violating passage rules. As a result, WTI crude surged to $99, and Brent approached $110.
Many think this is a geopolitical risk rally, but the logic now is completely different. Essentially, the market has priced war as rate hikes.
The oil price jump directly pushes up inflation expectations, fueling bets on rate hikes. Barclays has clearly bet on two 25 basis point hikes in December and January next year. The result is a mad rush of funds into gold for safety, with gold hitting new highs, while Bitcoin and risk assets are under pressure.
Adding to this is the deleveraging bloodbath in the US stock AI sector, with the Nasdaq weekly dropping 4.5%. The crypto market is in a low-volume downtrend, with Bitcoin firmly suppressed near $81,400, unable even to hold the Bollinger middle band. Ethereum is leading the decline, directly losing the key support of the weekly 200-day moving average.
Before true risk appetite recovers, every rebound is an opportunity to reduce positions, not a bottom-fishing point.
As long as macro pressure is not relieved, any rebound could be a bull trap. Protecting principal and enduring this deleveraging pain period is the most important thing to do now.
Let's discuss in the comments: do you think this oil price shock will force the Federal Reserve to be more hawkish? $BZ $CL Why should users bear the risk of exchange deposit addresses? It's time for a change!
For a long time, exchange deposit addresses have been fixed. This seems convenient but actually hides huge risks. Once the address is public, others can track your fund flows through on-chain records. Even more critically, if someone maliciously transfers unknown funds (commonly called "poisoning") to your fixed address, and that money is flagged as dirty money, your account could face risk control or even be banned. To comply with regulations, platforms often require users to prove their innocence, effectively shifting the security cost onto customers.
Recently, I saw a user share that Bitget actually supports one-click changing of deposit addresses, allowing new addresses to be generated anytime for receiving funds. This truly addresses a pain point that many exchanges have not solved in the past five or six years!
This is a reform that must be supported! Updating deposit addresses at any time can prevent privacy leaks and cut off malicious "poisoning" paths. Users should not pay the price for exposure risks caused by fixed addresses.
Prevention is always more effective than freezing and appeals afterward. I call on the entire industry to quickly follow suit and truly return security choices and privacy protection to users. This is not just polishing product details but a substantial responsibility for users' assets.
Let's discuss in the comments: Have you ever encountered problems on other platforms because of fixed addresses?"#奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 allinCan $ETH be bottomed out over the weekend?!
Last night, Ethereum has already cleared out the long positions below, and now the market is starting to enter a recovery phase.
From the chart, although there was heavy selling, the support at 2390 was not effectively broken, instead it rebounded above 2420, indicating that the bulls' base remains solid. This drop was more of an emotional sell-off rather than a trend reversal.
Market liquidity tends to be relatively weak over the weekend, so the market may continue to oscillate and recover. Pay attention to the bottom-fishing capital inflow tomorrow.
Those who bought at low levels can patiently hold with targets at 2450-2480. Those who haven't entered yet can wait for the market to pull back and stabilize around 2420-2400 before bottom-fishing.
$BTC #Tesla releases new generation Roadster, market rises #Netflix growth may slow, advertising business becomes new focus The most dangerous place for Ethereum right now is not the drop, but "no one stepping in to buy".
Currently, ETH is around $2389, down 1.32% in 24 hours, over 5% down in 7 days, and nearly 12% down in 14 days. Short-term bears have firmly taken control — EMA15, 30, and 60 moving averages are all pressing down from above, MACD has a death cross below the zero line, Bollinger Bands are sliding from the middle band toward the lower band, and the price is being suppressed.
But the real concern is the underlying structural problem: BitMine holds about 6.03 million ETH, accounting for 4.9% of the circulating supply, and has set a 5% cap for itself — meaning the most stable weekly buying over the past 15 months is about to stop. Meanwhile, the US spot Ethereum ETFs have seen continuous net outflows recently, with institutional funds retreating. On one side, the largest buyer is about to stop; on the other, institutions are running away. Who will support the bottom in the short term?
Key levels: resistance zone above at 2420-2450, support band below at 2340-2365. Breaking below 2340 could accelerate the bears.
In terms of strategy, a rebound to the resistance zone without breaking it is a shorting opportunity; if the support level holds steady, a light long position can be tried, but avoid heavy bets on a reversal. Now is not the time to recharge faith, but to wait for signals #NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins The slowdown in subscriber growth is a real negative, and ads are just a compensation, not a primary growth driver since they represent only a small portion of revenue. With the continued rise in content and live sports costs, the profit margin will not easily return to 31.5%, and Brazil's tax highlights the risks of emerging markets. Therefore, I do not expect Netflix to exceed expectations this quarter.#TSMCQ3RecordProfit "2718 BTC Exited: ETF Is Siphoning, I'm Bearish and Defensive 🛡️"
ETF withdrew 2718 BTC over five trading days: 2147 in on the 13th, 3144 out on the 14th, 62 back on the 15th, and another 1002 fled on Friday — institutions are exiting faster than retail.
ETH saw 28,600 withdrawn on Friday, all credited to BlackRock; their BTC fund withdrew 873 on Friday.
The three major coins all took hits: SOL was the worst, down 1.5% at 102.78, holdings cut by 3.78%, overnight cost turned negative; ETH dropped 1.41% to 2389, holdings cut by 2.37%, overnight cost highest at 0.0049%; BTC stuck at 81286, down 0.57%, holdings shrank by 1.37%.
In 24 hours, the entire network exploded with 325 million volume, 94,000 people liquidated, longs accounted for 79% — bottom fishing is happening halfway up the mountain.
Three anomalies stand out: ETF keeps siphoning without price collapse, spot market passively hit; holdings shrink faster than price, no one dares to bet on the weekend; top five gainers are all small coins, hot money avoids the big ones.
My current view:
① 2718 BTC exited in five days, big money retreat matters more than price, I won’t catch a falling knife this weekend;
② Leveraged longs are surrendering, until surrender ends, all rebounds are fragile;
③ BTC support at 81000 is still watchable, if broken look at 80000; ETH at 2370, SOL at 102 — wait for break, no chase if no break.
I’m holding my BTC short position, will consider bottom fishing after ETF inflows.A hacker stole money and came to trade crypto, a 40x short position is about to be liquidated
A hacker, after painstakingly stealing money, didn’t launder it or run away, but actually came to the crypto space and opened a 40x short position.
Just saw an address marked as "hacker wallet" (0xf15d...bddf) on-chain. He sold 262 ETH, gathered 640,000 USDC, and directly shorted 305 BTC at 40x leverage on Hyper, with a nominal position size as high as $25.4 million.
The most ridiculous part is his liquidation price: $84,086.
BTC is currently around $84,000. This means that if the price bounces up just a few dozen dollars, this 40x leverage position will be liquidated on the spot. He used zero-cost stolen funds to leverage a $25 million position, putting the liquidation line right at his nose.
Normally, hackers launder money by mixing coins, cross-chain transfers, or using the dark web. But this guy directly put the stolen money into the contract market, gambling with the whales.
This is not money laundering; it’s clearly handing himself over to the whales.
He might think BTC can’t rise anymore and wants to use zero-cost funds to bet on high leverage. But the market punishes all kinds of arrogance, especially "smart people" who put their stop-loss line right on their forehead.
My judgment is simple: this position most likely won’t survive tonight. Even if he guesses the direction right, this kind of position management is doomed to lose profits.
What do you think? Can his 40x short hold until BTC drops below 80,000? Discuss in the comments.
The above is compiled from on-chain data and does not constitute any trading advice.
$BTC $ETH Today is the weekend market open, and SanDisk and Hynix are both showing full-screen gains, while shorts are almost clustered in the storage sector. Clearly, with the US stock market closed, why is the market experiencing such an extreme sell-off?
The core reason lies in the superposition of three negative expectations. First is the pinpoint emotional explosion: major short seller Michael Burry publicly questioned the valuation of storage chips and increased his short positions, directly damaging the confidence of the bulls. Second, the two Korean storage giants have recently faced extreme sell-offs; Hynix has pulled back significantly from its highs, and the global storage sector's linkage effect has rapidly spread panic. Finally, China's ChangXin Memory's progress in DRAM technology has triggered deep market concerns about the competitive landscape of storage and future pricing power.
But a careful breakdown of this selling pressure shows that what is really falling is the leveraged sentiment on AI infrastructure, not the rigid demand for storage. The bond yields of some cloud service providers have surged, causing the market to reassess the high costs of AI infrastructure. Storage stocks, which had the largest prior gains and highest crowding, naturally became the first choice for capital clearing. However, fundamentally, the capital expenditures of large cloud providers have not been canceled, and the logic behind rising storage contract prices has not been disproven. This looks more like an extreme deleveraging washout.
My own long position in SanDisk is at 1588, currently deep in the floating loss zone, with significant pressure. Shorts are aggressively pushing over the weekend, betting on continued panic at next week's open. At this point, cutting losses has lost cost-effectiveness; what's left is to see whether contract prices and real demand can correct this extreme emotional sell-off in the upcoming earnings season. $SPCX dropped from 225 to 100, then bounced back to 176 before falling again to 144—this rollercoaster ride has my palms sweating. Are you still using "Starship, Mars, AI" to hype yourself up? The most direct feeling from watching the market these past two days is that SPCX's pricing anchor has shifted. The market is now trading on the AI narrative and Starlink revenue realization, no longer the long-term story of "human migration to Mars." So you'll notice a very awkward rhythm: when the AI sector trembles, it softens along; when Nasdaq sentiment warms, it bounces faster than BTC. This high-beta correlation indicates that among its holders, some are using it as an AI exposure. Digging one layer deeper, there are a few overlooked points. The FAA has initiated an environmental assessment, and regulatory investigations are still ongoing; such events don't change cash flow in the short term but will suppress valuation multiples. About 7% of shares unlock on October 26, presenting visible supply pressure. ARK has already been reducing its position; smart money moves earlier than the news. In other words, the rebound to 176 was more like short covering and sentiment repair, not new capital entering to build positions. Looking through the crypto lens makes it clearer. BTC has been moving to its own rhythm lately, supported by ETFs and macro expectations, with volatility contracting; ETH is slowly grinding along with its ecosystem narrative; altcoins are the typical "waiting for the wind," moving sideways without new inflows. SPCX, as a cross-market asset, is caught between traditional tech and risk appetite. When it’s weak, altcoins are veryBrothers and sisters, many people are wondering, with institutional funds continuously withdrawing, can Bitcoin hold the market?
Let's first see through the current situation: the coin price has not experienced a sharp plunge for the time being, but institutional funds are continuously withdrawing from the market, indicating that large funds are gradually reducing their holdings in batches, patiently waiting for a more suitable entry price, with no intention to buy aggressively.
Holding the market does not mean an immediate new high. The key is to continuously observe three signals: whether spot ETF outflows will stop, changes in stablecoin premiums, and whether the existing funds within exchanges can recover.
From a mid-term perspective, as long as market expectations for interest rates do not turn towards easing, BTC is likely to maintain a high-level range-bound oscillation, mainly to clear floating chips rather than to restart a bull market.
Short-term traders should not be misled by intraday spikes; for mid-term positioning, avoid heavy bets on a breakout before the capital flow turns from negative to positive.
In summary, the trading idea is: institutional funds returning and key supports holding firm are the true signs of stabilization. At this stage, patiently wait for confirmation signals and avoid subjectively predicting the bottom.
#特斯拉发布新一代Roadster,行情走高 #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #SpaceX上市后首份完整季度财报将揭晓 $BTC $ETH $ZEC During the adjustment period, focus on defense first, no rush to chase elasticity
In this round of decline, asset ranking is more important than "who rebounds faster." $BTC fell about 2.9% in a week and is almost flat over the past month, with a shallow decline, making its defensive attribute more prominent. It can be given higher attention, but this recognition only extends to its resistance to decline and does not yet indicate that a new round of rally has started, so there is no need to hastily raise return expectations.
$ETH fell about 4.8% in a week and about 6.6% in a month, still relatively weak. Long-term recognition cannot replace short-term reasons; trading frequency should be reduced to avoid increasing positions while waiting for a catch-up rally. $SOL fell about 7.3% in a week, around $103.7; the hundred-dollar mark does not automatically equal attractiveness. If participating in recovery, control positions according to recovery logic and do not switch to long-term after weakness. RE fell about 11.5% in a week and about 12.6% in a month, weakness unchanged; research can continue, but trading should control positions first; low price does not mean more opportunities.
Against the backdrop of Deutsche Bank planning to custody BTC and ETH and continuous outflow of institutional funds, first see who is stable, then who recovers; this is more practical than chasing elasticity.
#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #机构资金持续流出,BTC能否企稳? #德银拟托管BTC与ETH,数字资产业务提速 Good morning, friends, a quick overview of the market and risks.
1. BTC/USDT Perpetual $BTC
Macro pressure remains. CME shows the probability of a 25 basis point Fed rate hike on October 28 has risen to 24.9%, up from 17.7% a week ago; US September CPI year-on-year is 3.7%, core CPI 2.6%, both slightly above expectations; the 10-year US Treasury yield is near the highest level since 2007, continuously suppressing risk assets. In the short term, sentiment is key, focusing on whether Treasury yields and rate hike expectations continue to heat up.
2. $SNDK
There are three core risks: first, valuation is overstretched. Forward PE of about 6.5 times seems low, but the stock price has risen over 860% in one year, making the market extremely sensitive to whether it can continue to exceed expectations; second, competitive pressure, as China's Changxin Memory Technologies (CXMT) progresses in the DRAM field, raising concerns about the long-term pricing power of Asian memory manufacturers; third, buyback support, with the board having approved a $14 billion buyback plan and sufficient remaining authorization, which may provide some buffer when the stock price falls. The key milestone is the new quarterly earnings report on October 29, focusing on verifying whether AI storage demand continues.
3. $MUBARAK
Altcoins have nothing much to say; when the mainstream rises, it rises, when the mainstream falls, it falls hard??? It follows the mainstream rhythm but with more extreme volatility. Don't mistake a rebound for a trend. This is a personal opinion and does not constitute investment advice. $BTC fell below 80,000, brothers, can your positions still hold this wave?😮💨
Let's first review this round of "bloodbath": it's not just about technicals; the core is that Fed expectations have tightened again. At the beginning of October, Bowman said there's no need to adjust rates within the year, and CICC also judged that the probability of rate cuts in the next year is low, with high rates possibly becoming the norm. To translate: forget about cheap money💸.
The market is very grim: $BTC broke 80,000, ETH near 2,300, 185,000 people liquidated in 24 hours, $982 million, over 90% long positions. That spike really made me sweat😵. Altcoins are even worse; a buddy got stuck with ZEC+SOXL losing over a thousand dollars; also a 50x short ZEC with unrealized profit +1409% but no take profit, one big bullish candle blew it all. Both longs and shorts are suffering.
Why are high rates deadly? Dollar assets are more attractive, funds are pulled out of crypto, ETF inflows slow down, spot support is insufficient, so prices naturally come under pressure. We're competing with the Fed for liquidity.
My response: 1️⃣ Decrease leverage first; if 80,000 breaks again, liquidations will be fiercer, survival first; 2️⃣ Keep positions unchanged for now, Q4 has fundamental support, the pullback might be an opportunity, but wait for the FOMC at the end of the month before buying; 3️⃣ Watch the 5-minute chart less, sleep more😴.
Are you cutting losses or holding on this wave? Can your positions still hold? Let's huddle together in the comments🔥
#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? This position group is like three cards: one for collecting rent, one for bottom holding, and one for stepping on a landmine 😅
Market situation first: $BTC dropped to 79694 then was pulled back near 82000, support below 80k is thinning; 24-hour total liquidations across the network reached $929 million, longs accounted for $777 million. $ETH is grinding at 2450, shorts pressing above 2600. On the macro side, PPI and CPI exceeded expectations, ETF net outflow in a single day was $261 million, chasing longs is indeed risky 📉
① $BTC short: 40x full position, 243.96 contracts, opened at 84070. Current unrealized profit about $470k, funding fee earned $68.4k. The key is not the high leverage but the high entry and liquidation price at 104583 far above; as long as it doesn't reclaim 84000, it’s a cash flow ATM 💰
② $ETH long: 25x full position, 7223 contracts, opened at 2500.18. Unrealized loss about $320k, plus funding fee over $340k. Current price near 2450, retracement about 2%, liquidation price 1672, margin $709.5k. The position wasn’t cut, clearly betting 2400-2450 is a phase bottom, can hold but rebound strength is insufficient 🤔
③ $HYPE short: 5x full position, 268,300 contracts, opened at 66.24, current price near 81, unrealized loss $4.18 million. Margin $4.39 million, liquidation price 100.6, while historical high was 97.98 — this short position is too passive, any regulatory or business positive news could cause a big bullish candle and be painful 🔥 When $BTC consolidates around $81,000 and $ETH holds at $2,400, the real deep pit being hit is actually upstream hardware. SanDisk has fallen back to 1304, the triple-leveraged semiconductor fund SOXL has dropped to 94, just one step away from the previous low of 86. This discount relative to historical highs is much more striking than the mild pullback in mainstream coins. Market attention remains focused on the coin prices themselves, yet it overlooks that the upstream narrative of AI and computing power is the real outlet for clearing this round of sentiment. The valuation compression in the semiconductor and storage sectors is essentially passive deleveraging under tightening liquidity expectations, rather than a collapse in demand. SOXL has slid from about 300 at the June peak down to 94, shrinking about 70% from its peak; even compared to the previous cycle's high, it has retraced 40% to 50%. This decline has already fully priced in pessimistic expectations. Technically, the oversold condition at both storage and semiconductor ends continues, creating an asymmetric observation window: once liquidity marginally improves or restocking demand picks up again, the elasticity of upstream storage and semiconductors will release ahead of the broader market. The stability of $BTC and $ETH does not mean risk appetite has recovered; capital is more likely to seek repricing opportunities along the "deep enough drop, low enough expectations" path. My judgment is that the current odds favor upstream hardware over mainstream coins, but the win rate depends on policy direction. If tightening continues, SOXL may break below the previous low of 86 and probe further down. Therefore, a more reasonable approach is to lightly and tentatively build long positions rather than betting all at once. The real confirmation signal worth watching is whether trading volume can exceed the oversold level on the upside.#NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins
Not easy to compete with several mega-caps that have all decided to prioritize their streaming libraries, don't need to make much $ on those libraries & have the balance sheets to outspend $N#特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点 The market is now more concerned about whether the gross margin and profit margin can be maintained steadily, rather than simply how many cars are sold. A weekly order of $434 million was all pulled back at once, the serving counter piled high with returned cold dishes, and the kitchen exhaust fan was turned to the highest setting, yet it couldn't suppress the chill in the air.
The old pot of Bitcoin soup was doused with a cold splash from the $80,000 fire line, simmering and rolling three times before barely holding onto the $81,000 flame. Ethereum was even more frustrated, with customers returning dishes for three consecutive days; spot orders worth $69.7 million were scooped out spoonful by spoonful, and even the base ingredients were nearly hitting the bottom of the pot. The neighboring Bitcoin stove wasn't doing any better, with $82.4 million withdrawn cleanly and swiftly, the burner almost cooling off completely. This is the kitchen's worst nightmare of chain order cancellations—when one table in the front hall cancels, the private room next door follows by flipping the tablecloth.
Hot money is like the oil temperature on a blazing stove; with CPI and PPI adding fuel to the fire, and expectations of interest rate hikes soaring, the entire market's appetite shrinks back from the heat, and risk appetite—the appetizer—is taken away directly. But if you glance into the private room in the corner—several seasoned gourmets haven't budged at all; the owners of large positions are topping up and stocking up as needed. The old stew of the long-term is kept warm with the heat button always pressed; the flame may be small, but it never goes out.
This is the kitchen's most conflicted moment: the front hall is canceling orders, while the private room is waiting for a seat. Whether the ETF redemption dish can be served steadily depends entirely on whether the base broth of $80,000 can be maintained. If it holds, the scattered customers who left will naturally return; if not, the pot will have to be reheated from scratch. But the long-term fundamental starter dough is still there; fermented things can't be killed by just a spoonful of cold water.
My judgment is straightforward—the banquet won't disperse anytime soon; the base ingredients remain, the regular customers are still seated, but the main courses must be served one by one. If the base broth isn't ready and you rush to turn up the heat, the one who ends up burning the bottom of the pot is your own stove. The $80,000 level is the critical point where the broth starts to gel; whether the fire can be controlled depends on how tonight's spoonful of salt is sprinkled. #institutionaloutflowProfited 8.38 million then flipped to short, die-hard bulls cut losses of 1.68 million, the whales started fighting among themselves
The most intense scene on-chain today: Garrett Jin closed a $BTC long position of 112 million yesterday, pocketing 8.38 million in profit, then reversed at 85,994 to open 500 short contracts at midnight, pressing down with 43.31 million directly. At the same time, the "die-hard bulls" whale couldn’t hold on, stopped out a long position of 93.82 million, losing 1.689 million, still holding a bunch of 10x long positions on PUMP and FARTCOIN, floating losses hanging there. One is full and turns hostile, the other holds on until breaking point, the whales are tearing themselves apart internally.
Even more bizarre are the ancient addresses. Two wallets dormant for 12 to 13 years transferred 416.69 BTC to the same address at midnight. The original cost was 100,000 USD back then, now worth over 33 million. The old zombies are moving, whether it’s a rotation or selling, no one knows, but smart money is moving while retail is still guessing the bottom.
No good news from the ETF side either. On October 16, net outflow was 82.41 million, with BlackRock IBIT alone running off 71.8 million, accounting for 87%. The macro situation is even more twisted, core CPI rose 0.3% month-over-month, beating expectations consecutively, 16 out of 18 Fed officials believe more hikes are needed this year, no one believes in rate cuts, but the market bets on no change in October. Inflation is pressing down hard, yet the market reaches out for candy; the hardest hit are the bulls caught in the middle.

The market cheers the delivery volume, but surgeons don't declare recovery just because one ventricular contraction is strong; the year-on-year decline is due to increased end-diastolic pressure, indicating myocardial blood supply is not ample. The real lesion is not in the delivery curve but in the automotive gross margin: the price war is like continuous bleeding, and the better-than-expected deliveries are just fluid replacement, not a hemostat. If the gross margin cannot improve month-over-month, the cash flow extracorporeal circulation machine won't last long; valuation relies on narrative positive inotropic drugs to sustain the heart rate, and once the medication stops, the sympathetic storm will first impact the liquidity of the mapped target. The autonomous driving taxi and robot projects are long-term bypass grafts and cannot replace the current myocardial blood supply; they require verifiable milestones, not optimistic preoperative talks. The third-quarter results must be judged by three vital signs: whether automotive gross margin has stopped falling, whether operating cash flow has restored perfusion, and whether new business progress has formed effective collateral circulation. Delivery volume is just a symptom, gross margin is the lesion, and cash flow is the lifeline; if the gross margin shows no improvement, any better-than-expected delivery only prolongs ischemia time. #teslaq3profitandmargins#特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点 The market is now more concerned about whether the gross margin and profit margin can be maintained steadily, rather than simply how many cars are sold. If it still relies on price cuts to boost volume and profits continue to be thin, then the outperformance is only a temporary sentiment. The thirty minutes after the close on October 20th were merely the countdown before making a move—the real chessboard was set up thirty-three moves earlier, and Netflix was just the pawn pushed to the center.
Revenue of about 12.86 billion, a year-over-year increase of about 12%, operating margin of 33.2% compared to last year's 28.2%—this is not a financial report, it's a comparison chart of chess pieces. A five percentage point increase in margin is equivalent to turning a hanging pawn on an open file into a passed pawn by force. The question has never been "how strong is this pawn now," but rather "are there any pieces left to stop it before promotion?"
Subscriptions are its old opening system—stable, predictable, but long studied by opponents; the advertising layer is a mid-game opening change, moving from a single closed line to a double open line. The textbook is very clear: those who change openings mid-game must pay a tempo cost. So, suppressing margins in the short term for advertising investment is a standard sacrifice—whether the sacrifice is correct is not judged at the moment of sacrifice, but by whether it can be recovered three moves later. If it can't be recovered, then it's not a sacrifice, it's a free gift of material.
The real battlefield is beyond the chessboard. The linkage of tokenized assets like $xTSLA is a mirrored endgame: on the surface, two companies, two sectors; in reality, two diagonals on the same color squares. Streaming media and tech heavyweight stocks seem like bishops on opposite colors—never meeting—but always jointly supporting the same center. Whose center collapses first, the other diagonal immediately becomes a lone bishop.
The three candidate moves I care about: whether subscription net additions show marginal dulling; whether the unit economics of ad monetization have passed the breakeven inflection point; whether the pace of content amortization has been prematurely overdrawn. Without calculating these three steps, 33.2% is just a pretty number, not a sustainable material advantage.
The intense volatility after hours is the most testing period for endgame technique—those who calculate one move more collect the time of those who calculate one move less. Waiting here is costly: not moving means waiting for the opponent to expose weaknesses in their pawn structure first; moving recklessly means pushing the pawn in front of your king first.
Whoever's pawn structure shows an irreparable weakness first doesn't have to wait for the endgame. #NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins #NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins Financial Performance: Netflix has shifted from a subscriber growth company to a profit machine. 2025 revenues reached $45.2 billion (+16%), net income $11 billion, and operating margin 29.5%. The September Producer Price Index surged 6.3% year-on-year and 1.3% month-on-month, with the core items also surpassing forecast lines; the Consumer Price Index rose to 3.7%, even hotter than the consensus value given by the consultation room. According to conventional meteorological logic, this level of dual warm high pressure superposition should have triggered an upgrade response in the policy wind field. But in Wash's consultation speech on October 16, no signal of an October rate hike was given, only stating no forecast on rate decisions; Daly and Goolsby also simultaneously advised caution. As the words landed, the probability of a 25 basis point rate hike in October plummeted from a high level to around 15%, like a strong cold front in the forecast suddenly dissipating before landing, with the subsequent path falling entirely into an uncertainty zone.
This is a textbook inversion layer structure—the surface temperature is soaring, but a warm cap tightly suppresses the upper air, preventing convection. The data side is a warm low pressure, the policy side is a stable wind field, creating a huge vertical wind shear between the two, with radar echoes full of clutter and the sounding curve bending into a dangerous angle. For US stock mapped targets, this is neither clear skies nor heavy rain, but the swirling space before a storm surge: the sea surface looks calm, but the waves are secretly accumulating energy layer by layer.
More troublesome is the conduction chain. The scorching readings on the production side should transmit heat vertically to the consumption side, but the policy warm cap suppresses it, trapping heat in the lower layers, forming a sultry and stuffy sauna-like pattern. This kind of weather is most easily misjudged as "nothing wrong" because there are no thunderstorm anvils overhead, but the geopotential height has quietly risen.
From a meteorological perspective, the most dangerous time is never the typhoon that has already sounded the alarm, but the period when the barometer is off the scale and warnings are delayed. The timing of rate hikes pushed into the fog equals lowering the visibility of the entire risk cycle to the minimum; when the wind field restarts, the gust factor will only be greater than initially forecast. #USCPIAndPPITopForecasts #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? Around 4 a.m., the synchronized crash of tech stocks and $BTC $ETH was not triggered by a single event but was a "risk asset resonant liquidation" ignited by the AI debt crisis and sharply amplified by the high interest rate environment and liquidity exhaustion. This timing coincides with the fragile window where after-hours US stock trading intersects with global market sentiment, making any negative news easily magnified.
Core Fuse: AI Debt Crisis Shifts from "Narrative" to "Reality"
Previously, market concerns about AI were limited to the narrative level of "whether investments can break even," but around October 17, these concerns materialized into concrete credit risk events.
The most direct trigger was AI cloud service provider CoreWeave. Its bond prices plummeted to levels implying about a 60% default probability, with some bond yields soaring above 15%. This completely ignited market panic over the financial health of AI infrastructure companies, as leading cloud providers’ annual capital expenditures approach $1 trillion, heavily reliant on debt financing. When the market saw CoreWeave’s debt on the brink, it began to question whether the "debt-driven growth" model of the entire AI computing power chain was sustainable. Panic quickly spread from CoreWeave to all AI hardware-related stocks like Nvidia, AMD, and Micron.
Amplifier: Oil Price $CL Surge and Rate Hike Expectations Form a "Double Whammy"
The AI debt issue triggered such a severe sell-off because it collided with an extremely unfavorable macro environment, creating dual pressure.
· Oil Price Adding Fuel to the Fire: Brent crude surged near $110/barrel, WTI broke above $101. High oil prices directly pushed up inflation expectations, forcing the market to reprice the Fed’s rate hike path.
· Rate "Davis Double Whammy": Inflation worries heated up rate hike expectations (the market even began expecting a 50 basis point hike in December). Higher rates both lowered the present value of tech stocks’ future cash flows and raised debt financing costs for AI infrastructure construction. This dealt a double blow to AI companies relying on forward earnings and high leverage, squeezing both valuation and profit logic.
🏃 Accelerator: Liquidity Exhaustion and "Multiple Forced Liquidations"
Market liquidity was thin during the early morning hours, with fragile buying support, creating conditions for a "stampede-style" decline. #新手必看:这里有你需要的一切
· Buyers Disappear: Due to prior institutional concentration in tech stocks, when selling began, retail buying weakened, and tech companies’ own stock buybacks also diminished due to tight cash flow. The market lacked sufficient absorption power to handle selling pressure.
· Risk Asset Linkage: Bitcoin and the Nasdaq index are both high-risk assets with strong capital linkage. When the tech stock crash triggered widespread risk aversion, speculative funds simultaneously withdrew from Bitcoin and other crypto assets. Data showed that global digital asset investment products saw a weekly net outflow of $434 million, Bitcoin briefly fell below $81,000, and nearly 80,000 liquidations occurred market-wide within 24 hours. This was not a problem with Bitcoin itself but because it was sold off as a high-beta risk asset amid a liquidity squeeze.
Summary #创作者激励
The 4 a.m. crash was essentially a concentrated outbreak of AI debt credit cracks, a high interest rate environment, and liquidity exhaustion. The AI debt crisis provided the "story," the high interest rate environment provided the "logic," and the early morning liquidity vacuum provided the "stage for the stampede." Bitcoin’s decline reflected its risk asset nature and linkage with tech stocks, not a failure of its own independent narrative. When the market begins to "settle accounts" for AI’s massive investments, all assets relying on future growth and high leverage will undergo a painful value restructuring. BTC holds at 81,000, ETH first drops 1.15%, but ETFs are flowing out
In the OKX snapshot, BTC is quoted at 81403.3 USDT, down only 0.47% in 24 hours, with an intraday high-low difference of less than 1,000 USD; ETH is quoted at 2396.65 USDT, down 1.15%, pressured from 2441.9 down to 2356.62, showing a significantly wider amplitude. In the same time window, ETH's trading volume is 140 million USDT, higher than BTC's 111 million, falling more sharply with heavier turnover, indicating short-term selling pressure is on the ETH side.
What concerns me more is the mismatch between price and capital. On the US trading day of October 16, BTC spot ETFs had a net outflow of 82.4 million USD, ETH spot ETFs had a net outflow of 69.7 million USD, marking the second consecutive day of outflows with expanding scale. The price hasn't collapsed, but ETFs are withdrawing, indicating that this sideways movement around 80,000 is not supported by incremental spot capital.
So I am not in a hurry to interpret BTC's resistance to decline as a strong bullish signal.

Oil prices surged to $110 before retreating, but the real fear in the market isn't the rise itself, it's the reignition of inflation expectations 🔥. Middle East tensions, transportation risks, and declining US inventories have tightened crude supply, making oil prices extremely sensitive to news; even small events can trigger big swings.
If energy costs continue to rise, rate hike expectations will heat up, the dollar and US Treasury yields will strengthen, and risk assets will naturally come under pressure, making it hard for the crypto market to remain unaffected ⚠️.
$BTC is not to be blindly optimistic in the short term 📉. First, watch if previous support holds and if rebounds have volume backing; if rallies meet resistance and lack volume, be wary of another drop. $ETH depends on its strength relative to BTC: if BTC rebounds but ETH lags, it indicates insufficient investor confidence 🧐.
Currently, it's better to focus on defense and wait for confirmation, not chase sentiment, and keep a close eye on volume, price, and macro signals 📊. #特斯拉发布新一代Roadster,行情走高 #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #SpaceX上市后首份完整季度财报将揭晓 With approximately $13.33 trillion in client assets and 40.3 million brokerage accounts, Charles Schwab has directly integrated $BTC / $ETH into its everyday account system. Eligible clients can buy and sell on Schwab.com, Schwab Mobile, and thinkorswim with a 0.75% fee rate, and single transactions ranging from $1 to $2 million. Holdings are displayed alongside stocks, bonds, and ETFs, effectively removing the entry barrier.
But don’t rush to see this as a "massive spot market gateway." Withdrawals still come with risk control shackles: new addresses must be registered and wait 24 hours, with a limit of 3 transactions within 24 hours and a single transaction cap of $5,000. The fee rate is also significantly higher than native exchanges. The brokerage offers a "configuration window," not a "high-frequency trading channel" 😮.
The real suspense lies before the end of the year: SOL, AVAX, and LINK are all set to be added, but the order has not been revealed. Based on client familiarity and ecosystem depth, SOL is very likely to lead; however, if Schwab wants to prioritize the "institutional narrative," LINK or AVAX are also possible.

$BTC $ETH #Tesla releases new generation Roadster, market rises #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #SpaceX上市后首份完整季度财报将揭晓 $152 million quietly withdrawn, the real focus shouldn't be on the outflow itself. When you see ETF net outflows, is your first reaction "It's over, institutions are leaving"? I was startled when I checked the data last night, but the more I looked, the more I felt this interpretation was too superficial. On October 16, the US spot Bitcoin ETF had a net outflow of $82.39 million, returning the money that had just flowed in the day before; the Ethereum spot ETF has been bleeding for three consecutive trading days, with another $69.68 million outflow in a single day. Looking closely at the structure, IBIT alone contributed $71.78 million of Bitcoin withdrawals, while the ETH side was almost entirely handled by ETHA. The numbers look intimidating, but this is not a "collective institutional retreat" scenario. Let me first share my own position perspective. Such a single-day reversal easily causes panic; last week I almost chased to cut positions in a similar rhythm, but later reviewing the situation, I realized I cut at the peak of emotion. So this time I forced myself to first look at the derivatives structure instead of being led by the ETF headlines. The key signals are here: - Bitcoin outflows are highly concentrated in a single product, more like a certain type of fund rebalancing positions rather than a broad risk preference shift - Ethereum has had net outflows for three consecutive days, but the perpetual contract funding rate for ETH has not turned negative simultaneously, indicating the leverage side has not entered panic pricing - The total $152 million is not large relative to the overall ETF scale; what is truly worth cautioning is the timing of its occurrence, right at the gap when sentiment just shifted from optimism to hesitation. My understanding is that the market is currently trading not "institutional exit"The profits from this bull market in A-shares mainly come from valuation premiums.
Now this wave of premiums is being paid back.
- **Iron bottom indicator: The author compares the CSI 300 with secondary bond funds. Once stock returns fall below bonds, it basically signals a major bottom. Currently, there is still a 24.6% gap to this “iron bottom.”
- **Timing determines returns: Buying the CSI 300 in September last year could have earned nearly 40%. Arriving 20 days late on October 8, now only 3% remains. Even if the direction is right, entering at the wrong time still results in losses.
- **Risk premium is ebbing: The stock market rise in the first half of this year mainly relied on earnings. But valuation contribution has reached a historical peak. This indicates that the previously borrowed sentiment premium is being given back.
- **Historical patterns are harsh: After the last five peaks in premiums, all fell back near the iron bottom. None stopped halfway up the mountain. This time the highest deviation was 43.5%, almost the same as the 2015 peak.
- **Why the rise was fast: Low starting point, ETF funds aggressively pushed broad gains. Plus, policies directly raised market risk appetite.
**The premium borrowed during the bull market must ultimately be paid back with principal and interest through volatility. Let's first summarize the market situation in one sentence: BTC is around 81,200, down 0.6% in 24 hours, with a daily volatility of only 1.3%; ETH is at 2,390, down 1.3%, with the relative strength index dropping to around 31—somewhat cold, but still far from freezing point (data as of 06:40). It neither crashes nor rebounds, just grinding down a notch every day. The main reason for this round of decline, I believe, lies outside the crypto circle. 1. External factors: Oil prices back to triple digits In the past few days, the Middle East conflict directly hit transportation routes, with mines appearing near the Strait of Hormuz and shipping disruptions. Brent crude oil surged from above 100 to around 110, hitting a new high since May, with a weekly increase exceeding that of the previous quarter. Selling institutions have started revising upward their oil price forecasts for next year, even presenting scenarios of "long-term blocked channels, oil prices at 150." The impact on crypto is not simply "war causing a flight to safety"; there is a chain in between: oil prices → inflation expectations → interest rate expectations → risk asset valuations. Inflation data itself was already on the hot side a few days ago, and with energy added, the probability of continued tightening within the year has been put back on the table. So you see a very awkward picture—the US stock market is just shy of its historical high, but the tech sector can evaporate a trillion dollars in market value in a single day. The money hasn't left the market; it has just moved out of the longest-duration assets, and crypto happens to be that longest-duration category. 2. Selling pressure within the circle: Not panic selling, but "rule-based selling" At the same time, there is a more structural issue: institutions#NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins may not meet expectationsChecking the market early morning, BTC is at 81261, down only 0.5% in 24 hours; ETH is at 2389, down 1.2%. The difference in decline isn't large when viewed individually, but looking at ETH/BTC, the ratio is 0.0294, still near the year's low. My view is straightforward: ETH's weak performance this round is not solely due to market sentiment; the capital structure also plays a role. Don't just focus on $BTC price fluctuations; capital differentiation is the key point right now.
Spot flow has already given signals: $BTC has a 24-hour net inflow of $38.49 million, but a net outflow of $554 million over the past week and $257 million over the past 30 days. Some are bottom-fishing in the short term, but over a longer cycle, the capital hasn't truly returned.
Pay even more attention to $ETH: a 24-hour net inflow of $59.56 million, but a net outflow of $815 million over the past week and $2.601 billion over the past 30 days. A short-term rebound does not equal a trend reversal; don't rush to bottom-fish.
$SOL is relatively strong: $12.16 million inflow in 24 hours, $108 million inflow over the past week, and $196 million inflow over the past 30 days, clearly stronger than BTC and ETH. $ZEC also has capital inflow in the short to medium term, with $34.4 million over the past week and $103 million over the past 15 days, worth continued observation.
My judgment: short-term capital is flowing back, but the long-term cycle hasn't fully turned. Watch if BTC's rebound can continue; don't rush to bottom-fish $ETH for now; the capital performance of $SOL and $ZEC is more worth tracking. Remember, capital inflow does not mean immediate price increase; the key is whether the inflow can sustain and if the price can strengthen in sync.
#BTC #ETH #SOL #ZECDeliveries look good, profits remain to be seen: Tesla's real answer comes on October 21
Tesla delivered 486,500 vehicles in Q3, exceeding market expectations, but still down about 2.1% year-over-year. The numbers look good, but that's just the first half. The real focus after the U.S. market closes on October 21 will not be how many cars TSLA and XTSLA sold, but whether automotive gross margins and cash flow can improve—selling cars is one thing, but how much money is left in the end is the key.
Today's market environment also reminds us not to be too optimistic. The South Korean stock market plunged, SanDisk and Micron faced simultaneous pressure, and tech stocks fall regardless of how good the story sounds. In this market, growth alone is no longer enough.
Robotaxi and Optimus certainly have room for imagination, but R&D investments are significant, and when they will translate into actual revenue remains unknown. TSLA wants the market to keep buying in, but it can't always rely on future expectations; the same goes for XTSLA, which ultimately depends on whether performance can support the valuation.
More importantly, exceeding delivery expectations and profit improvement are two different things. The former has data, the latter still awaits the earnings report—don’t rush to celebrate, there are still numbers to crunch.
The market's demands on tech stocks are getting higher; good growth is only a good start. The earnings report on October 21 will truly answer whether TSLA can deliver more solid profitability; XTSLA’s performance will also depend on how the market digests this report.
$BTC $ETH $SOL Interest rate hike bets cool down, but why does the crypto circle still not dare to bottom-fish?
CPI year-on-year at 3.7%, PPI year-on-year at 6.3%, both higher than expected, with the probability of a rate hike in October once pushed to 27%. Warsh publicly discussed policy for the first time in Bangkok, leaving only the sentence "no prediction on meeting results," and the bets immediately fell below 15%, US stocks turned positive, and the dollar weakened.
But the crypto market did not follow through. SOL, most sensitive to interest rates, fell the deepest, with shorts still increasing; ETH is stuck in a stalemate between bulls and bears, showing sluggish movement; BTC is relatively resistant to the decline but also lacks momentum for a counterattack.
The key is not October, but December. Goldman Sachs judges: pause in October, possibly the last hike in December. The current easing looks more like a window period, not a risk removal.
My thinking is: before macro pressure dissipates, use rebounds to reduce positions, do not catch a falling knife; if SOL rebounds, reduce exposure first, BTC can be given a bit more patience; new positions to be considered after the end-of-month rate decision.
Warsh extinguished the fire for October, but the knife for December still hangs. Do you believe this "verbal cooling" this time?
