💬💬 Message Post
I will be checking group chats less frequently or not at all recently to avoid distractions; friends who have something to say or questions can leave me a message, and I'll reply when I see it.
Lately, I've been trading while learning, mainly from well-known YouTubers like Fang Fang Tu; also some books, such as the important "Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques," which I haven't finished yet.
Today I made a reckless move, losing 1200 back and forth. I didn't break the previous low, so I shouldn't have manually closed the position, nor should I have reversed to short; the root cause was still having too large a position size, with a big unrealized loss, unable to withstand the pressure.
The road to making money is still long, and there is much to learn. All traders also need to keep learning and reviewing their trades.
Wishing everyone all the best!
💔Heavy positions lead to certain death, I've already started the path to rebirth
Last night I began adjusting my positions to a relatively reasonable level, otherwise, no matter how much I earn, it would be in vain.
Now I usually control a single position at 2% to 5% of total assets, with 10x leverage, typically entering with 1% first, then gradually adding positions up to 5% to max out.
$IRYS For this coin, my overall judgment hasn't been too off, if I cut the position in half, my decision would be different. I should have made big money, but ended up with big losses.
Previously, $LAB and $RIVER didn't bring me down.
The root cause is heavy positions; the losses caused by stop-losses are too large, so I have to grit my teeth and go all in.
❤️ Currently, I have no specific profit targets; rebuilding my trading system is the top priority;
❤️ Every day I start intense learning, including reading books and watching videos from knowledge bloggers, because my theoretical knowledge is still very lacking.
This is my last post before I can achieve stable profits. Control your positions well before talking about making money, otherwise everything is just an illusion.
In this brutal trading market, you need to work harder, be more persistent, and more disciplined than others to possibly win, not just rely on luck.
$IRYS was liquidated
Made several fatal mistakes:
1. Between 0.1135 and 0.168, there were three 15-minute closing opportunities. At that time, I judged that if it didn’t drop and entered consolidation, it would be troublesome. The price wouldn’t fall during the pump and would most likely continue to rise. I kept waiting to close with a smaller loss and hesitated. I knew it would probably pump again, and then it did, going beyond my expectations. At that point, I could only gamble.
2. The most important mistake was forgetting to check the trading volume. It had already reached tens of billions, which I never expected. If I had looked at it then, I would have decisively opened a long position.
3. I was bullish all afternoon and was going long, but at night I misread the 15-minute candlestick reversal signal and closed my long to open a short. This wasn’t fatal because there was a chance to recover.
😡 Next, I need to learn more and review more. I was really stupid, all reckless moves.
The fundamental reason for the lack of decisive decisions was heavy position size, reluctance to let go, hesitation, and missed opportunities. 😡 Anyway, I was really stupid today and laughed at myself.

$MASK Earn 177 in 90 seconds
Still the same saying, you can short anything that rises rapidly, but don't go all in.
Take profit at 1 to 3 points, and you need to close the position within this 15-minute period or the next 15-minute period, regardless of profit or loss.
Don't be greedy with these rapid pump moves; just take what you can earn. The longer you hold, the more uncertain it becomes.

$IOST Review
😀 What was done right: Reduced position in time when breaking even, which lowered the risk
🥲 What could have been done better:
1. Added to the position at a relatively low point, thinking it would drop further, but it pulled back up, leaving no room to add more. Watching a chance to profit but only able to stare helplessly;
2. Did not close the position in time when there was an unrealized profit of 800, missing a second opportunity.
But who could have predicted? Each coin’s rise and fall has its own style, hard to grasp, decisions are made in a moment.
❣ Areas to improve:
Never fill your position too early
You should save the most precious bullets for last to maximize returns.
$BTC still the same advice: go long at relatively low levels, do not short.
$IOST historical positions, also made a profit on September 10th
Yesterday, the funding fee cost 576, and I didn't close the position before the fee was deducted because I was too lazy to move.
Yesterday's $DOOD and isot made me once again firmly believe my judgment was correct, but there was a misjudgment and I didn't follow up with the operation.
For such large gains and trading volumes exceeding 100 million, a drop, even a rapid drop, requires at least one very long or several consecutive very long candlesticks. This is a strong signal of a decline, but not the only signal.
❣ I only look at candlesticks for trading, not any technical indicators, and also refer to whether the trading volume exceeds 10 million, 50 million, or 100 million. I've seen a lot, so I have my own set of standards.
Controlling your hands is very important; don't add positions lightly, and don't fill your position completely.

$DOOD $IOST extreme choice between the two, which one to short?
1. The two coins have different pumping methods: DOOD rises steadily, while IOST experiences rapid spikes in a short time;
2. DOOD has a larger trading volume and more retail investors;
3. Although DOOD's increase is greater, its chance of pumping again is higher than IOST. DOOD's rise tends to decline slowly rather than suddenly crash, unless there is one or several very long 15-minute candlesticks.
❣ Conclusion: Short IOST, DOOD cannot be shorted for now.
Wait until later or tomorrow to see if what I said is correct.

$IOST has a chance to break even, it's time to reduce positions! 15:33
When I opened a short position at noon, the trading volume was just over 10 million, now it's already over 100 million. Be cautious with volumes over 100 million.
If you can't make money on a certain coin, that's fine; minimizing losses is acceptable. Don't insist on making a profit before exiting.
I have reduced my position to the minimum and will look for opportunities to add short positions again. Currently, the downward momentum is not obvious. If it keeps oscillating in this range, there's a high chance of another pump.
$DOOD's 15-minute candlesticks are not long, no short squeeze or stop loss triggered. If it keeps rising slowly, there will definitely be at least one long candlestick. For those used to shorting, don't act now; those going long can use small positions.
