In the era of information transparency, is it really harder for financial crises to occur?
The reason past financial crises were easily brewed was largely due to slow information dissemination. Underdeveloped communication and low market transparency meant that information was held by only a few for a long time. Many risks could accumulate within the system for years, while most market participants remained unaware. By the time the problems truly surfaced, the market often had no time to react, panic spread rapidly, and it eventually evolved into a systemic crisis. Today's environment is completely different. Smartphones, the internet, and real-time information allow information to spread almost instantly worldwide. Macro data, policy changes, and market price fluctuations can all be captured by the market within seconds. Many localized risks are reacted to by the market before they have a chance to expand. From this perspective, the traditional type of financial crisis that relies on delayed information accumulation has indeed become harder to form. But things are not that simple. More information does not equal more understanding. When information spreads extremely fast, the market is also more easily surrounded by noise. True and false news mix, emotions spread faster, and market reactions are often amplified. Short-term panic, concentrated sell-offs, and instant liquidity contractions occur more frequently in modern markets. The early stage of the 2020 pandemic is a typical example. The U.S. stock market triggered four circuit breakers within just one month. It was not that the economic fundamentals suddenly collapsed within weeks, but that the market quickly formed a consensus panic under intensive information shocks. When everyone reacts in the same way simultaneously, market volatility is extremely amplified. A deeper problem actually comes from the increasing complexity of the financial system itself. Altcoins suddenly flash crash 20% to 30%
I actually think it looks more like a violent shakeout before a rise
Just now, altcoins suddenly collectively plunged, with many coins dropping 20% to 30% in a short time.
But I actually think this movement looks like a violent shakeout before a real market rally starts.
A few days ago, altcoins just began to show some profit effect, more people chased the rise, and leverage started to pile up. At this moment, suddenly a sharp drop hits, washing out those chasing highs, those with high-leverage long positions, and those who can't hold their chips, making the market cleaner.
Of course, we can't prove that this is deliberately dumped by so-called "whales," but from the chart perspective, this kind of rapid drop followed by quick support is a very typical deleveraging process.
If BTC doesn't break the trend next, and altcoins quickly recover this drop, I will actually look forward more to the real main upward phase afterward.
Sometimes before a rise, the market just needs to throw people off the bus.

Altcoins just collectively flash-crashed 20% to 30%
I actually think the market isn't over yet
Altcoins suddenly experienced a rapid plunge just now, with many coins pulling back 20% to 30% in a short time.
But I think this move looks more like a violent deleveraging after the previous rapid rise.
In the past few days, BTC surged straight to around $79,000, continuously squeezing the market. In the past few days, tens of billions of dollars worth of liquidations have occurred, and altcoin leverage and short-term funds have clearly piled up. At times like this, the market suddenly gets a sharp correction that clears out high-leverage long positions and chasing buyers, which is actually not surprising.
The bigger environment hasn't changed significantly. BTC is still up more than 20% this week, spot ETF funds are flowing back, and US policy and liquidity expectations are friendlier than before.
So I won't turn bearish just because of this flash crash.
If $BTC can hold the high ground, I actually think after this quick altcoin sell-off, there is still a chance for a second wave of gains.
The truly strong coins will quickly bounce back in the next couple of days.
Gold is really getting stronger in this wave.
The latest COMEX gold has closed near $4624, up about 5.6% this week, marking the third consecutive week of gains, with a cumulative increase of over 14% in the past three weeks.
What’s most notable about this rally is that U.S. Treasury yields were originally high, which would normally suppress gold, but the market is instead actively buying gold due to U.S. debt and fiscal risks. Additionally, with the U.S. Treasury expanding long-term bond repurchases, the dollar weakens, and funds are flowing back into scarce assets like gold and BTC.
So after gold broke through 4600, I remain bullish.
Next, I’m watching 4650; once it truly breaks through,
my target of 4700 is getting closer.

$BTC has surged from 57,800 all the way up to around 79,000 USD, with a weekly increase of over 20%, completely reversing the overall market sentiment.
And this time it's not just short liquidations.
The US spot BTC ETF saw a single-day net inflow of 606 million USD on Thursday, with a cumulative total of 1.61 billion USD this week. Meanwhile, over 4 billion USD worth of crypto short positions have been liquidated in the past few days. Spot funds and short squeezes together have pushed the market up.
So the most important thing now is to see if the capital inflow can continue.
As long as the ETF continues to flow in and BTC holds the 75,000 to 78,000 range, I think there is still a chance to challenge 80,000 or even higher later on.

Solana's mainnet has actually been quietly upgrading recently.
By the end of July, the mainnet had already increased the single block computation limit from 60 million CU to 100 million CU, directly boosting block capacity by about 66%.
Now Agave 4.2 has also been released, and the next phase plans to gradually reduce the Slot time from 400ms to 200ms, theoretically doubling the confirmation speed.
Additionally, the transaction size is planned to increase from 1232 bytes to 4096 bytes, and the on-chain storage rent target is set to decrease by 90%. These are all concrete improvements to Solana's performance ceiling.
Currently, BTC is driving the entire crypto market. If funds continue to spread to mainstream altcoins, and $SOL coincidentally experiences mainnet performance upgrades, I think this trend is worth continued attention.

$TRUMP has returned near $2.6
The Trump narrative is starting up again
$TRUMP is currently priced around $2.58, up about 7% in 24 hours.
After BTC's recent surge, market risk appetite has clearly returned, and with Trump continuously pushing the CLARITY Act these days, US crypto policy has once again become a market focus.
This coin doesn't need to be studied too deeply; the biggest narrative has always been Trump himself.
If the meme coin trend continues to spread, coins like $TRUMP, which have traffic and recognition, are worth keeping an eye on.

ZEC has reclaimed the $500 mark
The privacy coin sector remains very strong
$ZEC has currently risen above $500, reaching around $523 at one point today.
Recently, Zcash itself has had quite a few catalysts; the Ironwood upgrade just went live, combined with the market's ongoing trading of privacy coins and institutional capital expectations, $ZEC has clearly outperformed many older altcoins during this period.
So $ZEC no longer looks like it's simply catching up with BTC.
If $500 can hold steadily, I believe the privacy coin sector still has opportunities to be actively traded by the market going forward.

$TRB has started to catch up
This kind of old coin usually doesn't move too slowly
$TRB was stuck around the teens before, now it has clearly accelerated, with the latest price roughly around $23, a 24-hour increase of over 40%.
This is the recent noticeable change in the altcoin market.
BTC rises first, then funds start looking everywhere for old coins that have dropped deeply before and haven't fully recovered yet. Small-cap, highly volatile targets like $TRB naturally attract attention from funds.
When it wasn't rising before, no one paid attention; now it moves by tens of percent.
If the altcoin market continues, I think we'll keep seeing this kind of catch-up rally.
