NEAR's long-term story increasingly depends on how effectively its technology can support applications beyond the traditional blockchain audience. Developer experience, interoperability, and infrastructure for emerging use cases could determine whether the network becomes a durable application platform. Strong technology alone is not enough, though; sustained users and meaningful economic activity ultimately have to validate the thesis.
