IREN’s first 50MW Horizon delivery is more than a construction milestone. It gives investors an initial proof point for the company’s shift from bitcoin mining toward AI cloud infrastructure under its five-year Microsoft contract, valued at about $9.7B. The key question now is repeatability: three Horizon sites remain, within a program totaling roughly 200MW in Childress, Texas.
