A new exploit linked to an Aave-related adapter drained ~$305K in ETH from two Safe wallets.
Aave says its core V3 contracts were not affected.
That’s an important distinction.
The incident wasn’t a direct failure of Aave’s core protocol.
But it shows how third-party infrastructure can become the weakest link around DeFi.
